These photos are apart of a series.
Alliant Energy
The first is a photograph of Alliant Tower, in downtown Cedar Rapids. One of the things I like about this photo is the simplicity. All that is really seen is the building, with a blue sky in the background. I also like the perspective. It starts low but progressively increases in height. I think I would like to get more photos like this, that take on this concept.
Cylinder’s
The second is a photograph of two organ pipes from up close. What I like is they mystery, and the simplicity. It could be anything, it doesn’t necessarily look like organ pipes, from such a close view. I also like the shapes of the ceiling and wall that creates shadows, and adds specialty to the photo. It has the same idea as the first photograph, starting low and increasing in height. It is something I would like to continue exploring.
