They kind of alternate. Neither are particularly bad at cooking, but neither are particularly good either. When they live in their place in Vancouver city, they end up ordering out a lot. When they’re at their little orchard in the Okanagan, cooking is a dual effort. Allison does it very cheerfully, but often she’ll try to do too many things at one time.
Who does the laundry and other chores?
They’re both pretty organized. Usually they’ll switch off without really talking about it, like if one person did most of the cooking for the night, the other will do the dishes, or if Allison cleaned the living room, Kaidan will do the laundry.
How many children do they have?
If they have any kids, probably only one. Allison isn’t sure how much she wants children. For one thing, they’d have a lot to live up to, and for another, she doesn’t think she’d make a very good mother.
Who’s more dominant?
Allison, probably. Comes from the fact that she’d been giving him orders since day one. She probably drops into Commander Shepard mode every now and then, after London, but Kaidan bears it with patience because it’s just a part of her nature.
Favourite nonsexual activity?
Snowboarding for Allison, skiing for Kaidan. They do a lot of outdoor activities. Hiking in summer, snowboarding/skiing in winter; adventures that don’t result in being shot at. Occasionally, they’ll go down to a shooting range, though, just to make sure their skills don’t get rusty.
Their favourite place to be together?
Their orchard in the Okanagan. It’s quiet and peaceful out there, and it’s easy to feel normal.
Any traditions?
They have the entire crew over for holidays, Christmas especially. Even if some of them don’t understand the point of celebrating these human holidays, it’s nice to all be together again. Then they can be total dorks at night and everybody stands on the deck and they name the stars and constellations, and reminisce.

What do they do for each other on holidays?
Allison goes batshit with decorations and presents. Kaidan’s a little more reserved about it and there are a lot of “You really shouldn’t have”s when he sees the collection of presents labeled with his name under the tree. She makes sure to hide mistletoe everywhere, and eggnog is always in stock in the fridge, and they go ice skating and make snowmen. As already evident, Allison LOVES the snow.
Where did they go for their honeymoon?
Not London.
Too soon? Well, if they actually get married, they probably stayed on Earth and went somewhere nearby, like up north to Alaska, or Jasper National Park. Somewhere relatively quiet where they could have a peaceful time together.
Somehow, a tropical vacation with snorkeling doesn’t seem like a good idea, given Allison’s track record with fish.
Where did they first meet?
I feel like they met briefly before they were both stationed on the Normandy, probably during their early years in the Alliance. Either way, it didn’t have much impact on them other than Allison probably checking him out.
Any pets?
DOGS. LOTS OF DOGS. LIKE FIVE OR SIX. Allison just can’t stop. She sees a puppy in need and then she just has to help. Kaidan has forbidden her from volunteering at animal shelters.
(She tried to get a betta fish once, but for some reason the credits just wouldn’t go through. Most curious thing. Anything else she tried to buy processed just fine, but not the fish.)
What do they fight over?
Not serious fights, but every time she brings a new pet home, Kaidan sighs really heavily. I feel like there have been some disagreements over marriage and kids, too. Kaidan seems like the sort who would want that life, but Allison shies away from it.
Do they go on vacations? If so, where?
Whistler, mostly. Local resorts that feature a plethora of outdoor activities.
