HAUAIAII in the anticipation of chipped off hype i will ask about ALLIECHIPS. WHO confessed first and how did it go

OK SO I KIND OF HAVE AN ANSWER FOR THIS this may change in the future but my idea rn is

chip def confessed first but before they were on friendly terms, and it was a very teasing, provoking confession meant to embarrass her or make her mad. FOR CONTEXT prior to becoming close and realizing their similarities they were rivals of shorts, with allie trying to get info out of chip for channel 11 I THINK I TALKED ABOUT IT BEFORE BUT Anyways chip would absolutely try to make a move on allie during their contentions, half genuine half looking for a reaction. of course, allie gets furious (she does not know!)

AS FOR THE GENUINE CONFESSION allie for sure. i don’t think chip is eloquent enough when it comes to discussing his feelings for him to think of confessing in a more serious manner (as he gets closer to allie though his walls break down. they tell each other everything now) allie would absolutely be the type to put her whole heart on the table and spill her whole heart out to him (i would know um. Never have i ever *takes a drink*)

i def need to spend more time thinking of ideas for this period of their relationship but that’s it for now methinks I LOVE EMILY

ANOTHER QUERY FOR YOU has chip’s dad met allie/does he know about her WHAT DOES he think of her. do they get along well

CHIPS DAD MET ALLIE ONCE OR TWO obvi prior to chipwrecked/chipocalypse. when chip told him he was bringing a girl over his dad was so curious about her and asked a ton of questions, while simultaneously praising chip in his usual ways: “i knew you’d find the right one for you, son!” “i love you, son, good on you!”

chip, being himself, finds this incredibly annoying and embarrassing, and brushes him off

allie and mr whistler get along very well, mostly because allie is able to put on her work face around him…she acts like a textbook innocent girlfriend, much to chip’s surprise and mr. whistler’s enthusiasm. however, her façade dropped a little once when she was shown his baby picture (the one from reckoning ball) and she burst out into a fit of laughter, which she tried to remedy by saying he was just “too cute” (not totally a lie). of course, she later teases chip about this: “i cant believe he keeps that around…you looked so silly!”

upon his retirement and granting the ceo role to chip, he ran into allie once again during the ceremony. heading off on his vacation (to a beach somewhere? chipwrecked phone call) he wished chip the best of luck, and even gave allie a hug, surprising her, the expression on her face drawing a chuckle from chip over his father’s shoulder. “take care of chip for me while i’m gone” were his parting words to her

despite the fact she puts on a front for him, she respects mr. whistler and finds him to be a genuinely well-meaning man…which is why she puts on a front for him, not wanting to ruin their relationship

1. allie’s love language is words of affirmation 100%…mostly because it’s mine as well *looks around*

despite how she carries herself in such a way that would make others think she has enough confidence for a lifetime, she desperately craves approval and affection…she really struggles with self image and yearns to be truly loved #failgirl

she’s not shy about giving words of affirmation in return either, being quick to compliment chip (either sincerely or with intent to purposely fluster him) on any occasion

2. chip, in terms of how he shows his love would definitely be a gift giving/physical touch type of guy. words of affirmation are not his strong suit (but i believe they are what he loves to receive as u will see :])

i talked a lil in the last post about how chip is a touchy person, and i could 100% see him being the type of lover to show affection through touch. also, as the spoiled nepo baby he is he has plenty of wealth to go around and would def be the type of bf to spoil allie with gifts and fancy dates…also typing both of these out made me realize that i think i’m essentially trying to show that chip would find it easier to spend like. 1k on a date then be honest through his words…he’s not a wordsmith at all

however, i think words of affirmation is important for him as what he would want to receive, paired closely with acts of service

he would never admit his insecurities at all, but chip is a born salesman, a people person…his job requires him to be someone presentable and brand-friendly…basically he needs to be well liked, hence why when his reputation starts to go to shit and his appearance deteriorates we begin to see a more unhinged side of chip (insane plots to take down the greens aside) i think approval is really important to him, as much as he wished he could survive without it…hence what makes allie’s admiration and praise of him so special to him, even if he could never admit it outright

loyalty is important to chip too…although it def is one sided in a lot of his relationships. hence why act of services is another way to his heart. allie has stuck with chip through all his maddening schemes and plots (for reasons that i will have more detail on later) and for that he could not be more grateful, but even moreso he appreciates the small things she does to help him out. straightening his tie in the morning (chipocalypse era exclusive), packing him a lunch with silly little hearts on the bag (SHES SO CRINGE he loves it tho), helping him get back on his feet and fixed up after an encounter with cricket…she takes care of him and he really feels adored around her

Hi! Just wanted to say Allie and Chip are so cute, always happy to see them, your art is also really awesome.

And I hope it's okay if I ask, but do you think they get petty revenge for each other? Like Chip casually tracks down the guy he saw totally steal Allie's cab, just so he can show up at his door and pelt him with tomatoes probably?

I LOOOVE THIS QUESTION BECAUSE THE ANSWER IS 100% YES they’re absolutely the type to hold grudges against anyone who harms the other. OR NOT EVEN HARM LIKE. mildly inconveniences them like for a funny example say they’re out grabbing coffee or smth and allie finds somewhere to sit and while chip is in line someone cuts him allie would absolutely move to a seat near the exit so when they come by she can “accidentally” trip them and they spill their drink all over. and later they’d laugh about it like the terrible couple they are THEYRE SUCH MENACES.

EMILY I LOVE YOU THE SONG. SNEAKY SNITCH i love it thank you OK BUUUUT

1. ITS SO DIFFICULT TO PIN DOWN JUST ONE THING but i think they equally love how the other compliments them perfectly…they’re like two peas in a loser pod. ITS KINDA FUNNY HOW FAST THEY SWITCHED THEIR OPINIONS OF EACH OTHER WHEN THEY STARTED TO FALL IN LOVE they had a rivalry going on prior to their dating as allie was part of the news journalism team trying to do an exposé on the whole Tomato scandal and chip was like Get off my back please. BUT along with a bunch of similarities in personality/motive (stay tuned for full lore Winks) they both found the other to be just what they needed to be whole…both just wanting to be loved and accepted, despite the confident and put-together fronts they put on (or attempt to at the very least) nobody ever made them feel as loved as the other had…they’re able to soothe the parts of them they hide deep down.

but more concretely, allie thinks chip’s spoiled, clueless approach to even the most simple tasks is (ironically) kind of charming, as she enjoys being able to show him the most basic of skills and have him think she’s some kind of god…it gives her an ego boost

chip on the other hand finds allie to be a genuinely remarkable person, and he really looks up to her…although he’d likely never admit it to her. moral code aside (for obvious reasons) he finds her work ethic and strong demeanor admirable…even after realizing the later is merely a façade. normally, chip would not look twice at someone’s hard work unless they were working directly beneath him, and even then he was not the kind of boss to give raises…but with allie it was different. he found her really respectable in all she does, even the acts not done for his sake (gasp!)

2. GREAT QUESTION

allie def gives off the vibes of someone who would not openly show affection with her partner, but with chip she’s the most touchy gal ever. chip happily returns these affections

CHIP DEF IS A PDA GUY in bcg hes sooo touchy in non-intimate settings like he’s constantly putting his arm around or touching the arm of those he interacts with so with allie he’s allll about that

they’re like so annoying when they’re with each other. chip would also not be shy about calling allie pet names which she returns in rare occasions only because she knows it turns chip beet red

BUT YES idk if they’d be the type to hold hands while walking for example. but they’re touchy in other ways…little gestures. brushing hands while talking, resting a hand on the other’s arm or shoulder, constantly in each other’s arms…i hope i’m getting the vibe across

3. FOR THOSE UNAWARE ALLIE IS A JOURNALIST FOR CHANNEL 11 and in all honesty it was not her first career choice. but she does enjoy her job, being a fan of writing and ESPECIALLY as someone who is nosy she heavily enjoys being able to document the hot big city tea. she sort of envies maria media, wishing she was able to actually speak her mind about what she’s written, not just hand it off to maria to read herself…especially when she changes things to fit her own idea of what’s “news worthy,” it makes allie’s blood boil
