ASFM #6: It's the night before I propose and I'm nervous. I'm not nervous because I'm afraid of your response, I'm nervous because I want this day to be perfect. We're laying in bed together and I'm listening to you breathe. I don't realize it but, like every other night we sleep together, I find myself matching my breath with yours. Each night I wake up to make sure you're okay. To make sure that you aren't having any bad dreams. Each night I wonder how someone so perfect could have been made. My theme for tonight is "questions". All of my unending curiosities float around the room as I stare at personified perfection. How did I get so lucky to have the most beautiful girl in the world? How do I paint the vivid picture of my love to you? How do I let you taste the sweetness of my love that's only meant for you? I wonder about you all the time because you are my greatest fascination. I want to protect you in the blanket of my arms and soothe you with the softness of my kisses. I want to make you feel but never hurt. I want to make you smile and never frown. Every 11:11 I look at you only to realize that you are my wish. Every 11:12, I wonder why I wish if my wish came true. Every 11:13 I realize that I wish for another moment with you. Every second I understand that I'm blessed to be holding the other half of my soul and heart and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I wrap my arms around you even tighter to bring your heart closer to mine and I close my eyes. It's another perfect moment and i can't get enough. My night will always include me waking up to check on my queen and then admiring her unending beauty. This is our night my love. Every night is our night.
