😳 3 night hypos in a row... Diabetes sometimes feels as a Venus flytrap. Apparently, for a flytrap’s trap, a single impulse means nothing; it could be triggered by wind-blown or perhaps a falling raindrop. To avoid closing its traps for such false alarms, the flytrap is programmed to wait for a second signal. The first impulse sets a secret timer, and what the fly does in the next seconds will determine next action (the fly's fate). Like that gut feeling of going low but not sure yet 100% and trying to decide what action to take (sometimes doesn't matter what the glucose meter says, it's more a gut feeling..). In my case, I always need a second signal to jump to my glucose or take any other action. I try to listen to my body all the time, however, some times doubt is inevitable. The time between the first signal and the second one demands a lot of attention! 😅 Happy weekend to all of you!
