Ana had gotten used to it, the early morning and late-night visits. He would come in and talk to their daughter and talk to her about Ada but that was as far as anything went with the two of them but her mind was somewhere else tonight, her hands were resting on the edge of the bassinet as she thought about the vomit she had to scrub it off the bottom of her tub, the sound of Damien throwing up everything he had in his system and the clothes she had been wearing which were now washed and laying on the edge of her bed. Tears slipped down her face as she lifted her hand up to wipe them away. What if Damien had died? What if she brought Ada into this world just for her to end up exactly like her brothers? The thought was crippling. What had she done to herself? What had she done to this precious little girl in the bassinet? Although, there was never an ounce of regret of carrying Ada. She should have run when she had the chance... but if she had run. Damien would have died in the hallway. She moved her face into her hands, pushing the palm of her hands against her eyes to make sure she didn’t cry since Roman would be making one of his late-night visits soon. @allnightmusing
