30 Days of Doctor Who
Day 11: Name a who-ism you use irl! Do you like to run around saying allons-y? Do you tell people not to blink?
Yes, I know I'm posting this a bit later. Today is day 13, I believe.
Due to the fact that English isn't my first language, I don't get that many opportunities to use who-isms in my everyday conversations, but:
1. I've started to use the word "fantastisks" (fantastic) more often;
2. I say allons-y quite a lot. My brothers & sister & a few friends get that, but parents give me weird looks when I say that.
3. I keep reminding people that bowties are cool and usually have a strong reaction if I see a fez (that usually involves random jumps, kicks or running around the room).
Where I live, only a few people seem to know about Doctor Who and even less people watch it. However, I've successfully convinced two of my friends to watch it and now they are totally addicted to DW :)
