Running.

Ever since Rose had met the Doctor, it seemed as though she did more running than the average track star.  She never minded though, never wanted anything else after she'd been given the universe in every sense of the word and now she was running towards something instead of away.

For the first time in what felt like a lifetime, she was running towards the man she loved more than anything else in the world and the bright smile that she wore reflected that.  Adrenaline flowed through her veins and the gun she carried felt like hardly anything at all.  Tears nearly brimmed in her eyes when the Doctor ran towards her in return and her legs couldn't carry her fast enough.

She was caught up in that single moment in time and perhaps that was the mistake she'd made.  The Dalek gave no warning before firing it's weapon...directly at her.  Whether or not it was her heart or her mind that had stopped first, she couldn't tell, but part of her knew that she was heading for the concrete and she did fall with a thud and a clatter when her gun fell beside her.

An explosion could be heard when Jack destroyed the menacing Dalek just a second too late to save Rose.  What kept her alive, she was uncertain...but she clung to the threads of her life in order to see the Doctor.

The Doctor: River! But you- *pales as he figures it out* Nevermind... Rose: Doctor who is she? The Doctor: Uh... I'm not really sure. She knew Eleven. I only met her once.

 ......* remembering that moment*-Mind!doctor

 Yea I'm sure. You were lucky you love her, born from a kiss like that. But   I can't an it frustrates me because I can remember loving her and all those times and  *Sighs* Go, it's what I would do *Smiles*-Doctor
