For the ask thing: Incense and Dragons
Incense: List your three favorite scents.
vanilla cupcake (whether that be a candle or actual vanilla cupcakes doesn’t matter to me, although cupcakes have the benefit of being edible), cinnamon, and freshly brewed coffee (but I refuse to drink it black, bleh).
Dragons: What makes you feel powerful, what breathes life into you?
This is a tough one for me. I struggle with anxiety and the past two years have not been super helpful in regards to feeling powerful. Especially not when you throw depression on top of that. Usually it’s little things that make me feel powerful. Working out a difficult math problem, going some where alone, making an adult phone call. Silly little things like that. What breathes life into me though…totally my kids. They can drive me up the damn walls sometimes and be an addition cause of stress. But then there are the little moments where they’ve mastered some task, do something sweet for their sibling without being asked, start to say I love you, watching them when they sleep…that reminds me what life is about. Those remind me of why I keep pushing forward and to live in the moment before it’s gone.

Help me, I can’t unsee Tauriel and Arodeth as Elphaba and Glinda!
Seriously, the parallels are all there! Tauriel is *really* good at what she does, but take her away from the Guard and put her in a social situation and she’s the biggest awkward turtle to ever awkward turtle.
Arodeth, on the other hand, does not do the killing of things, and the military precision, and the battle strategy. She’s the exact opposite. By nature, her personality is one of nurturing and caring. She’s sweet and kind and unassuming - unless you threaten her - or worse, someone she loves - then, mate, you’d better run!
But seriously though, the love I have for Arodeth is entirely far too much, and the love I have for the two of them being besties? … Off the scale!
