No that’s so irritating. People don’t understand how fucking fantastic the history of other cultures are. They just mock it because they’re just so ignorant. I get that.

Ha yes I saw it and that really is just stupid. Some people are so just ughhhh
It was really frustrating. Especially since pretty much all of the cultures whose histories are depicted are non-white. So it felt kind of like... white people looking at all these other cultures in this kind of... mocking light. And like... listening to parents explain bullshit things to their kids... it was a bit painful.
And then when I got the the Pacific People's exhibit, which I was really excited about, everyone was quoting Night at the Museum bc the fake Easter Island head is in there. And they kept being all "Dumb dumb, give me gum gum." And that's when I realized how SHITTY it is that the movie even did that. Idk. I am def grumpy.

Rule 4: Let them know you’ve tagged them 1. Last movie you saw and your opinion of it? Wreck It Ralph: it was super cute. It had some plot twists I wasn't expecting (which doesn't happen too often). I liked it for the most part. 2. Last book you read and funniest part of it (fanfiction is acceptable)? I'm still working on Flight of the Valkyries. I'm not sure what the funniest part has been so far. I really enjoy the interactions between Valerie and Loki. 3. Favorite drink on a hot day? Tim Horton's iced Capp, made with chocolate milk and flavour shot depending on my mood. 4. Favorite kind of car? Chevy impala (I drive a 2002, but would love a more classic model.) 5. Your OTP over all? (Ship for fanfic, movies, stories etc. Mine’s SuperNike <3) Spuffy, they are so perfect for each other, and have saved each other in so many ways. The end of the show killed me. 6. What’s your favorite fashion piece in your wardrobe? Pencil skirt, it goes with anything and is super flattering. (I have a really boring wardrobe.) 7. Converse or nonawesome shoes? What . . . I like converse, although they don't fit my feet too well. 8. Mountains or beach? Why? This I hard because I'm a prairie gal, and live my wide open spaces. I thinking aims are gorgeous, but if I had to stay there forever I'd get claustrophobic. 9. What is/was your dream wedding like? Not too big, kinda rustic, yet incorporate some I my fandoms and let the groom incorporate important things from his life. I'd want it to be about the two odd us rather than jus a "me party". 10.
