Homecoming

Szayel hasn’t seen Tsukishima in a very long time, but he still goes back to the house on a regular basis. It’s comforting to him to go to the familiar bed, surrounded by familiar books, the familiar candles which he lights and enjoys the soft light. It’s not really that Szayel is looking for him, but he’s a creature of habit and safe places are safe places. He’s made friends with the other inhabitants and visitors after all, so it would be weird if he suddenly left anyway.
It’s night time again and he’s curled up on the bed enjoying the soft nest he’s made himself there and then its when he feels it. It’s a familiar reiatsu, and his eyes open as he recognizes it. He sits up and takes in the thin, dark haired man before him.
“Welcome home,” he says.
