To start I just wanna say that Kris has written soooo many amazing stories and every time she blows me away with her characters, plot, and creativity, and Bingsley & Styles is no different. I have read The Hating Game probably 5 times, it is one of my favourite books, so I was beyond excited when Kris announced that she was going to write a Harry fic inspired by it. And just like I did with The Hating Game, I tend to read every chapter multiple times.
The fic is full of banter, teasing, and pining between Harry and Cleo and I am here for every second of it! Cleo thinks Harry hates her but little does she know he is actually madly in love with her (I just know he is, don’t try and convince me otherwise, he sent her a cupcake for goodness sakes, the guy has it bad). She also thinks she hates him, but I think she is just confused about her feelings. The two have so much chemistry, and you can literally feel it in every interaction they have together.
My favourite line: “No. We need a bed. You and I, we need a bed.” It made me laugh, as well as showed, in my opinion, how much Harry has thought about this and wants to make this moment right with Cleo.
This story is a fun and lighthearted read and I have found myself laughing while reading many times, but I can sense a little tension coming soon and I am excited to see where Kris takes these two! I highly recommend giving this story a read and promise you will not be disappointed.
