I'd like to close off the year for ATS with a heart of gold. Id like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for sitting tight as I figured it out. We launched our new website in June of this year along with the #embracemybeauty SURES giveaway. We finalized our Logo! We successfully championed a #wasitlineburningbootcamp. A self acclaimed winning bootcamp that emphasized the knowlege and history of Carnival a.k.a Mass while counting down the days to the West Indian Day Parade! We continued on with Waistline Meets History, a multimedia presentation on the History behind carnival which was held at the Flatbush Brooklyn Public Library. ~ and this is only under All Things SHILO~ As Shilo, the woman, the individual behind this platform, great strides were made as well. I worked alongside @tropicalfete as a stilt instructor and costume designer which inspired my movement into the realm of Mass! I Climbed Gros Piton in St.Lucia! Walked for 2 beautiful designers at Fashion Week Brooklyn @fashionweekbrooklyn (@jnigel & @indigostylevintage ) Fall in Love my latest single made it to itunes! Also tomorrow I am going to be a guest lecturer at Suffolk Community College. And I can't forget finishing up my undergrad degree and working! Let's not forget either the internal work! These are only a few seeds that I planted this year. As the year wraps up my spirit is falling into a meditative, reflective state and it is with this that I also bring #meditationsonwomanhood to a close. I am inspired by the work that I put out this year and would like to thank all those who supported. It's been a long, challenging year but one of so many experiences! Let's keep the momentum going! I will rest for now but will see you again next year!!
