Words cannot describe the exact emotions I am feeling at this moment. I remember the summer of 2010 when I was 12 years old, listening to Find Your Love on repeat over and over and over again. I thought that it was just a phase I was going through when I couldn’t stop listening to this man. Thank Me Later was given to me on a burned CD, and from August of 2010, I became one of the biggest Aubrey Drake Graham fans known to man. A year and two months later, my obsession grew to the point where I created the blog thousands of amazing users from all around the world follow today. I was in 6th grade when I discovered the talent of this amazing man. As a sophomore in college now, my love for him hasn’t changed. Drake has impacted my life in ways other artists have failed to do. I don’t remember a single school year where I would listen to his music to deal with my stress, or go on this blog to see the latest news of his location. He has grown to the point where he has the most amazing artists on his label, whom I listen to on a daily basis (Majid Jordan, Party, Roy Wood$, dvsn). From Degrassi to now, I don’t see myself dedicating my whole fan life to anyone else. Through the many times I have made fun of him, or been mad at him for dating a woman I don’t approve of, I still love him just the same. Within these past six years, I have not seen him live, but I plan to in the near future. On this day, October 24, 2016, Aubrey Graham turns 30 years old. I still remember when he was 23. I want to be one of the first to tell him happy birthday, and I love him from the bottom of my heart, forever and always. ❤
