                          ‘ i’m going to warn you once , and not again .  DON’T ASK ME QUESTIONS .  and forget it if you think i’m going to tell you what happened . ’   she sits , a picture of a calm but slightly weathered woman , legs crossed one over the other .  she doesn’t often sit  –  prefers the feel of towering , of allowing herself a quick getaway , but the difference now is the pain in her right hip which won’t quit . the pitfalls of running too fast . ‘ do you have any water ? ’
