This makes me homesick. David W and Ally M are sainthood knights in shining armor when it comes to Scottish music. At night they're generally wankered.
Fatherson
Here we have Fatherson, they are a Three-Piece Scottish band, formed in a little town not that far away from Glasgow called Kilmarnock. Theres Ross (Guitar/Vocals), Marc (Bass) & Greg (Drums) as well as Elaine & Chris who join them on there Live Sets. After there own wee tour round Scotland last September they seem to be gathering momentum and are Supporting Frightened Rabbit on 10th of Feb in Edinburgh to a packed out Picture House. Aswell as playing T in The Park in 2011 at the T Break Stage. The Band seem to keep rather good Company when supporting/touring with the likes of Idlewild, Panic! at the Disco, Elliot Minor, Twin Atlantic, Pearl & The Puppets and most recently Feeder.
Below is a Session they Performed for Tenement TV.
Tenement TV is an exciting new website that has just launched in October last year. TTV showcases some of the best live acts from around the world, performing in a vintage styled studio in Glasgow’s west end.
I came across Fatherson Thanks to Ally Mcrae Who Presents BBC Introducing in Scotland. When they where invited along to do a live session and interview in December Last year.

This is the first single to be taken from Fatherson's self-titled EP. Out 18/07/2011 through King Tuts Recordings. Hometown also happens to be my favorite song from Fatherson with its Catchy well Crafted storyline, chorus and Rich Bassline, the single could if not should be getting plenty of air time on the likes of Fearne Cottons or Huw Stephens show on Radio 1. Ross's fashion sense is just the right kinda look for a front man of his style and persona Fitting right in with the scene with the rest of the band fitting in nicely to. I would like to say i hope Fatherson Do get big as they are really a good band and would be a pleasure to hear on day time Radio.Last but not least i think they would add much credit to BBC Introducing Scotland as it fights on to keep its place on our Radio Waves as yet its future is still undecided.
