Thank you ♡ I did a modern au and had Kakashi on vacation in the U.S. just because it was a little easier for me but I hope you enjoy it!
"Kashi!" You pouted, looking up at the man who was just pouting at you. "It's gonna be so fun, I promise."
"You said that about the festival we went to yesterday."
"Baby, they're called fairs."
"Same thing." He grumbled, arms crossed over his chest. "Why can't you just call them festivals like we do in Japan?"
"Because, unfortunately, California isn't that fun. And because festivals are seasonal." His head pressed into your neck as he humphed and grumbled about "too many things to learn in a short amount of time."
You had run into Kakashi - literally - while he was taking a photo of the Hollywood sign. "Typical tourist stuff," he joked with his deep voice and thick accent. Feeling bad for ruining his photo, you had offered to be his guide around Los Angeles.
Well, that was three weeks and several kisses ago. Now you were just spending as much time together as you could before he had to go back home.
And now you were trying to convince him to join you at one of the friskier beaches California had to offer.
"C'mon, Kashi. Don't be stubborn, try it! For me, please? It'll be a great experience. It's like hot springs-"
"Hot springs don't have sand and excess amounts of people."
"But I'll be there~" Your fingers carded through his hair, peppering kisses along his cheeks and jaw. "You don't even have to take your mask off."
"Promise?"
"I pinky promise, my beautifully grumpy man."
