14. What do they care deeply about? What kind of loyalties, commitments, moral codes, life philosophies, passions, callings, or spirituality and faith do they have? How do these tend to be expressed?
this one is a little bit... odd. though one could certainly say that cloud is passionate about any number of things (”There’s not a thing I don’t cherish!”), he... doesn’t really show it.
certainly he’s passionate about his friends in (and out) of avalanche, and he’s committed to trying to do the right thing and protecting others, even though he doesn’t really consider himself a hero. but even though these things are at the forefront of his mind, they’re not something that cloud thinks of himself as being dedicated to or passionate about. they’re simply... what he does, because what else would he do?
16. Do they dream? What are those dreams like?
i wish i kept better track of my headcanons...
he does, and the majority of those dreams are, if not all nightmares, extremely unpleasant. they mostly consist of some form of pain, suffering, violence, and death... naturally. more to the point, his own failings in life feature heavily, as do major moments in his life that went right.. and how they could have gone very, very badly.
also, an exploding sun turns up a lot
