The crowd seemed to rage about, odd characters and beings teaming up around Ryuko and trying to vie for the attention of Ofiuco in order to receive a beacon for their task.

Finding herself being bumped and pushed throughout the masses, all to the harmonic tunes of Toto’s Africa, Ryuko fights her darndest to wade out of the mess but instead ends up being slammed into a young gorgon woman without warning. Great. Now to try and not get turned into stone.

“Motherfuckers– quit shovin’ me around!”

She’d been hanging back to watch the crowd as the doll announced the event. Fine. She’d help. It wasn’t like she had better things to do, and bossing around people was really what she did best.

Yet the longer she stood there, the more she realized there was no one coming to her. With her arms crossed, she silently sulked getting progressively more annoyed as teams began to form around her.

Until a willing servant literally fell into her lap. Nails dug onto the other girl’s wrist as she pulled her arm up as well.

And then quickly she placed herself between Ryuko and the weapon about to crater in front of them.
