!!!!!! it sounds like you have synesthesia !! idk if youve heard of it before but thats alot like what you were describing in your last ask about the letters and numbers !! i have it too but for me different sounds and songs are different colors and letters and numbers have colors and personalities too !! sorry im rambling i love love love this subject !!
I had heard of that before actually - I read a book with people who had it (If you are interested I believe it was called “The Name of this book is Unknown” which witty and interesting, if I recall from my 8 year old self?) but I thought that I couldn’t quite ask about it, because it’s not like they flashed a color, or it was definitively there, but things just had a ? Form ??? Would make a LOT of sense though ...I’m reading about it as per suggestion and it seems to be VERY fitting ... I mean,colors don’t automatically spring to mind when I think of things, but with the weight that they each hold, I know that I could and have described them in terms of color ... and the feelings associated with those also ??? It’s never been the same for songs, but I’ve always found songs difficult to listen to in their entirety because I hear all the separate things in them and find it difficult to get into them as a whole ... actually, for me, all my senses seem to be fairly tangled up : e.g. I cannot touch water on metal / porcelain, especially with soap (i.e. dishwashing,water sports) because the feeling is a degree less than what I assume everyone feels when they hear metal scrape a plate ... but even feeling that, its not just that its an awful sound but an unbalanced one ??? And I could probably describe THAT with a color visual too, maybe a yikes shade of yellow and ??? IM GETTING REALLY EXCITED ACTUALLY BECAUSE THIS MAY EXPLAIN A WHOLE BUNCH THAT I STRUGGLE TOO OH MY GOODNESS YES YES YES !!!
