LOOK I'M SORRY FOR THIS BUT,,,,I personally feel that Cynth would really can't blame anyone but herself for her problems, and that she's maybe just,,,,,,,a morally flawed vvv grey character who really shouldn't be idolised? I get that she's like by plenty of almonds but at this point of the story I'm seeing her be unnecessarily rude,,,and I get that lot of people romanticise her and her actions,,,,but idk it just feels,,very wrong? I am not saying she is a badly written character!! I just feel she is very toxic and anyone who actively encourages those actions is just,,,eh

okay i think people are going to have different opinions on this one but i personally do agree with you, actually. especially on the romanticization part. it’s... yeah i think cynth is written spectacularly and all the kudos to cress for that, but i don’t think she should at aLL be an idolized character. considering the whole. homicidal genocidal murderous thing.

but no i don’t think that her problems are entirely her fault, they have a lot to do with how she was raised. that said, i also don’t think that fact should prevent her from still being held accountable.
