I made bone broth
Spoiler Alert: I fucked it up
For someone who is so very good at cooking, you'd think broth would be easy. Apparently it isn't.
Who knew?
Oh, you want to know what happened? I strained out my broth after 24 hours, seasoned it, threw the bones away, and then realized that I had hot, vaguely beef flavored, salty water.
Troubleshooting? Next time, many days of cooking. Also, cracking the bones. (My grocery store sells marrow bones as big things for dogs to chew on, not cut into neat little pieces like some lucky people's.) Also more seasoning.
Well, I guess I'm having soup for dinner tomorrow night. And the next night. Lots and lots of soup.
