Waldo can’t help but think Harry would be an absolute nightmare on Facebook or really any sort of social media, and wishes he could see it. Wizards on social media arguing about potion ingredients and best ways to deal with certain creatures? Who wrote the better spell book or dealt with magical theories? Best wood for staves? It would be a nerdier version of the Paranet.

He grinned at his friend. “The way you toe the line between diplomacy and spite is an inspiration.” Not one he’d do himself. Even if he was the kind of guy who’d make a habit out of it, Waldo was too wary to pick fights with immortals.

All right, Harry's obviously still far from okay, but he's safe. In her bed and not trapped in whatever hellscape his mind dreamed up that had him screaming before Sara shook him awake. It's an improvement, at least. 

"It happens to everyone, Harry," she soothed, drowsy eyes following the path of her fingertips down his trembling shoulders. "ALL the time to people like us, you're not alone."

It was difficult not to smile openly at Harry’s glower, but sometimes his friend really was too amusing. Still, Michael had a feeling it wouldn’t be appreciated if he showed his mirth.

“I can’t speak for everyone, of course, but I can’t say I’m surprised.” He shrugged, “You’re not the most subtle, Harry.”
