I'm budhist, but I was born and raised Christian+all of my family but mom is... reason why they believe highly in the bible is cuz they believe that the creator of this world (God, Jesus, "higher power")= savior to mankind and the main subject of it.
okay, i understand that part, but why not just a higher power in general? like, why specifically the bible, and not just that there is a god, but not the kind of god described in the bible? why take that specific text as history and "word of god"? especially when the history of the bible is explained.
sorry, i don't mean to be offensive or anything like that! i just like these kind of debates.. if that's what you can call it? :3
