Hi! I know I've asked a lot of your special skills in the past but I really want to get the ' as you wish' phrase as a tattoo but is the English mode to quenya(spelling) mode a totally different thing? xx
Well, since the phrase is in English, it can’t be written in Quenya mode because the Quenya mode is specifically for writing Quenya language. The consonant clusters and values of the tengwar are different in Quenya mode, and often don’t mesh well with the English language - for example, there is no ‘sh’ sound in the Quenya mode, so it is impossible to write the word ‘wish’ unless it is first translated to Quenya (if that’s what you want, try Quenya 101).
