Sundays are relaxing days for catching up one homework, sleeping in, or having a lazy day. Many of the students at Shiratorizawa Academy did one of those three things. The athletic students didn’t have training, making it a day of rest after an intense week of training. For the volleyball team, Sundays meant catching up on homework and studying in general for the third years. Each week they meet up in one of their dorms for the afternoon.
Today is Semi’s turn and the third years would soon be arriving to start their study session. Ushijima arrived first as usual, Yamagata and him have a history test on Thursday and they need to start studying (since everyone else had two weeks, but volleyball).
Semi was in the middle of writing notes for Japanese Literature when the wing spiker arrived. So while the two of them waited for the others to arrive, they just went ahead and started to study.
Or more like, Ushijima began to copy Semi’s notes for literature.
Neither of them said a word, Semi focused on reading and writing the notes. This would be the only quiet moment they would have before Tendou arrived. And then there would be no peace and quiet.
“Ah…ah…achoo!”
The setter startled, his pencil flying across his dorm and his heart racing a mile a minute.
“What the fuck was that?!” Semi asked. Ushijima sniffed his nose and rubbed it.
“Excuse me, that was me. I’m sorry I startled you, Eita.” Ushijima apologized, standing up to retrieve the pencil.
“That scared me.” Semi laughed, he couldn’t believe a sneeze spooked him. Guess he was that focus on his notes.
“Sorry about that. I hope you didn’t lose your place.”
“Nah, I know where I am. Thanks ‘Toshi.” The setter smiled as he accepted his pencil back. He also placed a kiss on his boyfriend’s cheek. “Are you able to read my notes?”
“Yes.”
They went back to the notes and silence again. Semi tapped his pencil against his textbook, thinking about how he should write this section down.
“Ah…achoo!” A soft sneeze came right next to him. Now that he wasn’t too deep into note taking, Semi heard the sneeze.
“Goodness, I haven’t been able to stop sneezing all day.” Ushijima groaned as he rubbed his nose. “Must be allergies.”
“‘Toshi? Was that you?”
“Yes?”
“…Oh my god you have such an adorable sneeze.”
“Thank…you?” Ushijima thanked? He didn’t know how to respond to that, he didn’t really think his sneeze is adorable. But it appears his boyfriend does think that.
“I just didn’t expect such a soft sneeze coming from you.”
“Looks can be deceiving, Eita.” Ushijima said as he returned to the notes.
“You’re right, ‘Toshi. Looks can be deceiving.” Semi chuckled, kissing Ushijima’s nose.
“HELLLLLLLO! WE ARE HERE!” Tendou announced as he walked through the door. “LET’S STUDY!”

3. Arguments headcanonThey argue all the time, everyone knows this. However, sit down and talk through the issue/problem. They each give each other five minutes to talk about what they think about whatever is going on or what’s on their chest. Once the five minutes is up, they shut up and let the other one start talking. A lot of people in the guild often think they won’t last long, but to their surprise, they do last for a very long time.
It took a lot of time because of their prides, but they eventually figured it out and learned how to listen to the other.

Tsukishima studies with music playing, it helps him keep focus with his tasks. It’s something he discovered when he was in middle school and has kept up, even after he entered college. After completing his second year, he moved into an apartment with Kuroo, after Bokuto moved into a new apartment with Akaashi. A free room came up, but Tsukishima knew his boyfriend just wanted him to move in with him to bug him twenty-four/seven.
Which to his surprise, there wasn’t a lot of bugging as much as he thought. But then again, Kuroo is often in the school’s lab a lot of the time. Ha, chemistry majors are fun.
“Kei, did you see the news this morning?” Kuroo asked one morning, walking into the kitchen with his phone in hand.
“No.” Tsukki answered. “What was on the news?”
“Scientists have recently discovered a rare new element called Beautium. It looks like you are made of it.” Kuroo smirked, leaning against the counter.
“…”
“That’s a good one!”
“That is the lamest pick-up line you’ve ever told me.” Tsukki said, opening the fridge.
“Oi, it’s better than the bond one I used!”
“Which one was that?” Tsukki asked, there were so many bond pick-up lines he’s lost track.
“My name? It’s Bond. Covalent Bond.” He smirked, pointing finger guns at Tsukishima.
“Ew.”

“Well, you’re lame too because you’re dating me. Does that bother you?” Kuroo asked as he smirked again.
“…Damn you’re right. I am lame too.” Tsukki groaned, but Kuroo saw a smirk on his boyfriend’s face.

“…Don’t stop, you nerd.” Tsukki said, kissing his boyfriend’s cheek.
“Of course not. When I’m near you I undergo anaerobic respiration because baby, you take my breath away.”
“Oh my god, Tetsu.” He groaned, but he couldn’t help but love these cheesy pick-up lines.
Semi often wonders if he had been dreaming, dreaming that his boyfriend was a vampire. It’s not everyday someone will come up and tell you they’re a vampire. Especially when they’re dating said person. But when he wakes up, he sees Ushijima’s red eyes and is reminded that yeah, it wasn’t a dream. His boyfriend is a vampire. There’s still so much for him to learn and things to get use to. But it’ll come with time.
But for awhile, he’s wondered about something.
While reading for his literature classes, Ushijima sits behind him and reads along. But he’ll bury his face in Semi’s neck and growl into it. Semi has never asked because he just thinks Ushijima is trying to control himself from biting Semi (they’ve talked about that, but they’re still talking).
“Do I want to know why you’re growling into my neck?” Semi asked one evening, turning the page in his book.
Ushijima is holding him from behind as they cuddled in Ushijima’s bed. Semi often stays the night when he doesn’t have to be anywhere in the morning. Like tonight! Plus it’s raining and Ushijima refused to let Semi leave. Ushijima took a deep breath and slowly let it out, leaning his head against Semi’s head.
“I’m sorry, I just can’t…I can’t bear to look at your neck.” Ushijima apologized, closing his eyes.
“Why? You haven’t had a problem before.”
“That’s before I haven’t seen it up close and personal.” Ushijima responded. Semi blinked and looked over his shoulder towards his boyfriend.
“See what?”
“The marks on your neck.”
“My birth marks?” Semi asked as he raised one of his eyebrows, he also touched the two dots on his neck.
“Eita, those aren’t birth marks. They’re…” Ushijima took another deep breath and didn’t say a word for a few minutes. “That’s what killed you.”
So on top of having a vampire boyfriend, Semi also learned that he was alive during the 1800s. Him and Ushijima were both in love back then and were going to take massive steps in their relationship. Such as Ushijima turning Semi and them being together forever. But it didn’t happen when Semi died, how did he die? Ushijima hasn’t told him…but it seems like he’s about to find out.
Semi turned around and placed his bookmark in his book. Setting it aside, Semi turned around to face his boyfriend, whose face is mixed with guilt and anger. He must be remembering that horrific day. Semi cupped Ushijima’s cheeks and pulled his head closer to his, their foreheads touching.
“…Tell me about these marks.”
Ushijima didn’t respond again, this time closing his eyes and embracing Semi closely. Semi knows how strong the vampire is, but he could feel that he didn’t want to let Semi go. Scared something might happen again, a repeat.
“That was the worst night of my life, Eita. The worst night and I wish I could forget about it.” He finally responded.
“You…you were suppose to come to my home for the evening. We were suppose to discuss the last few things before I changed you. What room would make you feel safe while you were going through the changing process. What animal you would feed on first. When I should bring you to meet my family and everything. The last little bit before we could be together forever. But you never showed up and I grew anxious. I went out to look for you with Tooru’s help and…” Ushijima explained, but stopped and tighten his embrace around Semi. A little tight, but the blond could still breath.
Semi noticed that his should started to feel wet, Ushijima’s crying. Semi’s eyes soften, this can’t be an easy story to tell. Reliving the day the love of your life died. He rubbed his boyfriend’s back and didn’t say a word, waiting for him to speak when he’s ready.
“I found you in an alleyway and-and there you were on the ground, in a bloody alleyway.” Ushijima finally said after a chocked sob. “And you were gone already, your body was cold and you eyes were just so…empty. Tooru wasn’t far behind, but found me holding your body and begging you to come back. But nothing happened and I broke down. Tooru said he had never seen me so upset in the lifetime we had known each other.”
“…How’d I die?” Semi asked in a whisper. He doesn’t want to know, but at the same time, he does want to know.
“A group of pathetic, low life vampires that’s who.” Ushijima growled. “I never caught them, but I swear, if I ever found out who they are. Mark my words, their bodies wouldn’t be found anywhere. They took you away from me and I had to spend the last one hundred seventy-three years without you. It was hell and I couldn’t help but feel guilty.”
“Why?”
“Because I should have gone to get you myself or go to your home instead and talk these plans out. I shouldn’t have let you walk by yourself to my home. Because if I hadn’t done that, you wouldn’t had been attacked and I wouldn’t have to spend all those years without you.” Ushijima sobbed, looking at Semi. Semi’s heart broke when Ushijima looked at him, the tears rolling down his cheeks and how red his scleras are. “It’s all my fault.”
Ushijima hide his face in Semi’s shoulder as more tears rolled down. How could he have let that happened?! He KNEW there was a chance of a group of vampires would attack a lonely human. But yet, he agreed to let Semi walk on his own and to Ushijima’s home.
“’Toshi, look at me.” Semi softly spoke. Ushijima did, looking at him. Semi whipped the tears as they fell and leaned against Ushijima’s forehead.
“I can’t image what it was like and I don’t want to image what happened afterwards. But that’s all the past now and you found me again. Things are going to be different now, we are talking about changing me. So we can be together forever. But listen to me, neither one of us could have guessed that would have happened to me that night.”
“But I-”
“It could have happened to someone else.” Semi cut in, putting a finger over Ushijima’s lips. “But it happened and there’s nothing we can change about that. But we can change the future and I want to be with you, ‘Toshi. I want you to change me. And I want you to bite me here.”
He pointed to the bite marks. “And make that your spot and not their’s.”
Ushijima only nodded, knowing that Semi’s right. He can’t change the past, but he can change the future.
“I’ll make sure to protect you even more, from now on. No one is going to take you away from me again, I promise you that.” Ushijima said, whipping his eyes. Semi smiled and kissed him on the lips.
“I love you and I always will. To infinity and beyond.” Semi smiled, tangling his fingers with Ushijima’s fingers.
“I love you too. To infinity and beyond.“ He smiled back, returning the kiss that Semi gave him. “So, are you up for reading more?”
“Hmmm..nah.” Semi answered, turning around and leaning against Ushijima’s chest. “I feel like cuddling.”
“I cannot believe I’m going to do this. I seriously cannot believe you and Tweedle Dum dared me to do this.” Iwaizumi grumbled, hiding in the bushes with Matsukawa as they waited for a certain someone to pass by.
“You picked dare and Makki gave you a dare.” Matsu responded, yawning as they waited in the bushes. “How long does it take to jog over here from the school?”
“I don’t know, but they’ll be here soon and hopefully, he’ll be by himself.” Iwaizumi responded, looking down at his phone.
“What happens if he’s not?” Matsu asked, scratching his ear and flicking the earwax off his finger. The wing spiker didn’t say a word, checking to see if they’re coming yet. He sees a group of people, but none of them were the guy Iwaizumi was looking for. They group jogged passed the bush, not noticing either man in the bushes.
“So how do you think Oikawa would react if he found out you kissed him?”
“I’d rather not figure that out, but I think he wouldn’t like that I kissed someone from- wait here he comes!” Iwaizumi started to answer, but noticed he was coming up. And thankfully, no one was with him. “Okay, get your stupid camera ready.”
“Okay.” Matsu said as he pulled his app up as Iwaizumi jumped out of the bushes.
“Semi-san!” He called out, startling the jogging setter.
“Fuck! Where did you come from!” Semi hissed, putting his hand over his chest and feeling his heart going a mile a minute.
“Sorry about that but there’s something I need to do.” The wing spiker apologized. Semi looked at him with a puzzle look and raised his eyebrow.
“I’m in the middle of my afternoon jog, Iwaizumi and the others will be coming up any second-”
Semi didn’t get a chance to finish his sentence when Iwaizumi leaned forward and pressed his lips against Semi’s. The setter’s eyes widen as the wing spiker pulled back, Iwaizumi’s face all red.
“I am so sorry about that! It was a stupid dare and-”
“At least buy me dinner before you kiss me again.” Semi cut off, a smirk on his face. Iwaizumi looked up and blinked at the setter.
“Uh…okay. Friday after school or training?”
“After training, ends at five.” Semi responded with a smirk.
“Right, Friday at five. Uh see you!” The wing spiker said, nodding and bowing before running away. “Matsu come on!”
“Got it.” Matsu called out, popping out of the bushes and turning to Semi. “Nice seeing you, setter-kun. See you whenever we see you again!”
And like that, Matsu is gone and the moment both Seijou players were gone, Semi groaned and covered his now turning red face. How he managed to keep his face from turning bright red will be a mystery to Semi, but he’s surprise he did.
“Eita, are you alright?” Reon asked, jogging up to the setter and placing a hand on his shoulder.
“…I think so. Reon, have you ever gotten kiss just out of the blue by someone hiding in the bushes?” Semi asked. The wing spiker blinked and tapped his chin in thought.
“No, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Hayato did it.”
“You mean he hasn’t done it before? Geez, that’s a shock.” Semi answered as Reon nodded, patting his back as they continued their jog.
“So did you get that dumb photo?” Iwaizumi asked as the two walked back to Aoba Josai.
“Yup, but I got some better.” Matsu responded while looking down at his phone.
“Don’t tell me you got it on video.” The wing spiker groaned as Matsu turned his phone around.
“I got it on video.”
“MATSU!”
“You know this means that Makki can finally recommend that cafe he’s been wanting to suggest forever. Now he can when he hears you have a date with the setter from Shiratorizawa.” Matsu answered, putting his phone away.

“Mmmm, our first kiss?” Kuroo hummed, but then remembered it. And he faceplamed, face turning red. “Uhhhh yes I do. Why are you bring this up?”
“I don’t know. It just came to mind just now and I couldn’t help but ask if you remember it.” Bokuto shrugged as Kuroo groaned.
“I try to push that memory to the back of my mind. Ugh why did I say that.”

“You know, tonight was fun.” Kuroo said, looking over at Bokuto as they exited the restaurant. “I mean, I have fun with you all the time. But tonight was really fun.”
“Yeah! I had a lot of fun tonight!” Bokuto agreed, smiling big at Kuroo. Tonight was fun, starting out at the arcade before they went to went to see a movie. They ended the night with dinner at a ramen shop and now headed toward the dorms.
“We should do it again and this time, I’m going to beat you at that racing game.” Kuroo smirked. Bokuto laughed.
“HA! Not a chance!”
“Oh? Then guess we’ll have to go on a fourth date to see.”
“Then it’s a fourth date!” Bokuto nodded. They made a shortcut through the park, before stopping to watch a family of ducks swimming around the pound.
“Hey Tetsu?”
“Yeah?” Kuroo turned his attention to the wing spiker. Bokuto didn’t say anything for a moment, but started to lean forward to Kuroo. The middle blocker noticed and may of may not have slightly panicked…
“Have you read Jurassic Park? Such a good book, I highly recommend it!” Kuroo blurted out, his face turning as red as a strawberry. ‘SHIT! WHY DID I SAY THAT!’
“Wait…Jurassic Park was a book? I thought it was a movie!” Bokuto asked, stunned by the new fact he just found out.
“No, it was a book that was turned into a movie. I can give you my copy if you want. Super good!” Kuroo responded.
“Sure!” Bokuto smiled, but again leaned forward. Kuroo panicked again and stepped back, but not realizing the pound was still behind him.
“WHOA!” And into the pond he went! Bokuto, startled by the welp, stood there in shock at Kuroo, now sitting in the pond.
“Quack.” Came the family of ducks, swimming around the fallen cat. Kuroo slightly groaned, how embarrassing. “Quack.”
“Quack.” Kuroo repeated.
“Come on you quacker.” Bokuto said, holding his hand out to Kuroo. “You’re gonna catch a cold.”
“Right, don’t need that.” Kuroo chuckled, taking Bokuto’s hand. With the help of Bokuto, Kuroo stood up and walked out of the pond. “Thanks, Ko.”
“No problem.” Bokuto smiled, placing a kiss on Kuroo’s cheek. “Got it.”
“Uh yeah…sorry ‘bout that. I kind of freaked out.” Kuroo responded, scratching the back of his head. “I don’t know why I freaked out. Guess…I didn’t want to miss it up?”
“Really? I was thinking the same thing.” Bokuto admitted. “Well if we both messed up, then it’ll be one hell of a kiss to remember!”
“Well I’m sure we won’t forget about this one.” Kuroo commented with a chuckle. “But umm can we leave so I can go shower?”
“Yeah! Come on, Tetsu!”

“I wonder how the ducks are doing.” Bokuto wondered as Kuroo covered his face.
“Hopefully better than I was that night.”
“Well it was a memorial night.” Bokuto laughed, scooting over to Kuroo. He put his arms around him and nuzzled his cheeks. “And I promise to keep you warm forever.”
Kuroo smiled and kissed Bokuto’s cheek, “Thanks babe.”

1. Nijimura was the champion of region. His Pokemon are Houndoom, Farfetch’d, Ducklett, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan & Poliwrath.
2. Akashi was the final of the elite four that trainers have to get through before they move onto Nijimura (if they won). His Pokemon are Rapidash, Persian, Milotic, Hypno, Sawk & Chatot.
3. Nijimura and Akashi have been close since their traveling days, often running into each other at the Pokemon center or while traveling. After running into each other so many times, they decided to travel together because they always seemed to be going to the same place. Eventually, Nijimura took on the elite four and the champion, winning against the champion. Nijimura made Akashi the final person a trainer has to battle before facing him.
4. Nijimura had to step down as the champion to take care of his family, after his Father’s health started to decline. As much as it was hard for him to make that decision, his family is more important then a title. But before he stepped down, he had all four of the elite four battle him for the title of the champion and who would take his place.
5. Akashi in the end won and thought it was just a friendly battle between them all (since they do it when they’re bored). But Nijimura said no, this time was serious and Akashi had won. He’s the new champion now and he began to explain his situation. Akashi was obviously worried about Nijimura and his family, but he was told to not to worry about them and to give all the trainers hell when they came to battle.
6. BONUS! They keep in touch and are always writing letters to check up on the other. Akashi visits as often as he can to see everyone and make sure Nijimura’s Father is doing well. And maybe to have a quick date with Nijimura 😉
