Daisy Safe, Rose Wild
Alpha! Steve Rogers x OFC (no physical descriptions...might come off as short because I’m 5′ nothing. I tried)
Summary- Steve Rogers is an Alpha on a mission. Find his wayward omega and bring her to heel. What he doesn’t count on is her determined spirit to bring him to his knees.
Warnings- Soft! Dark. Non-violent non-con/dub-con. Angst, reluctance, estrous, knotting, claiming, a ton of explicit smut. No wolves or talk of pups...they’re people with a/b/o designations.
A/N- Alright. Here it is. Things you should know...The title come from this quote “She looked daisy safe, but smelled rose wild.” - Wyatt. Her last name means “stubborn.” This is a full on AU...NO MENTIONS OF MCU AT ALL. This turned out a lot softer than I anticipated but I really like it. I hope you do too. If you do please let me know with a comment and reblog. I am so proud of this one.
He knew she was here. He could detect her scent a gentle perfume of vanilla, rose, and pear with a hint of an essence that was purely her hiding beneath the bouquet of pine, moss, and dirt that surrounded him. How she had gotten this far was beyond him.
Holed away in the mountains during the off-season, it took Steve Rogers weeks to find the property that had somehow been purchased in her name. Omegas weren’t allowed to own property. They were meant to be owned. And she was meant to be his.
The moment he had seen her presented at a debutante ball, he had wanted her. Of all the omegas presented that night, she was the only one who met his eyes, holding his gaze, provoking him from across the room before being sequestered away from the party. He had to have her.
After months of negotiations with her father, he’d finally secured what he desired for the last year. The one made for him. His mate. His omega.
Then she disappeared.
One had to admire Daisy Terrell’s spirit, but she’d been indulged too long. It was time for her to be taught where she belonged. To whom she belonged. Steve was eager to be the one to teach her that. Repeatedly. Until she finally understood.
She would accept his claim. His mark. His sovereign dominance over her. Mind, body, and soul.
The cabin was secluded. It had been a part of the adjoining property, boasting a chalet that hosted the most privileged of society in winter. Once a home for servants, the previous owners sold it, opting to construct a new building closer to their residence to ensure round-the-clock attendance. It would have been the perfect hiding place. If only Steve didn’t have access to the private files and finances of her father. It took a while to find this address as it was not under her father’s name, business, or any of his many shell companies but hidden in a charity front often used as a project for his wife to dabble in society.
While it was perfectly legal for Terrel’s wife to help organize charity events, it seemed his sweet little runaway didn’t fall too far from the tree if her mother somehow managed to squirrel this cabin away for her daughter without anyone figuring it out. But Steve loved a challenge.
He moved through the underbrush slowly, making his way to the back of the cabin with its log walls and river rock chimney. A light shone in the kitchen, a shadow moved against the closed curtain. Her silhouette paused. Chin lifted as her nose raised. She knew. The light went out and the hunt began.
Daisy stopped in the middle of the kitchen, red gingham curtains drawn, scrounging in the pantry and fridge proved just as fruitless as it had twenty minutes ago. Food was never something she worried about before. It always just appeared before she even realized she was hungry. So many luxuries she took for granted, she reflected as she looked at her ratty t-shirt and flannel pajama pants that replaced the satin sets she used to have. She would have to figure out how to get more supplies, but how to do that without giving away her location?
She had a car stolen from her younger brother, but it was risky to use it too much. Although she could drive, she was not allowed a license. Any type of traffic stop would send her straight home and into the arms of Steve Rogers. All because a blood test at birth had designated her an omega.
When her father had brokered her marriage to Steve, everyone around her congratulated her. She could feel their envy seeping through their false smiles. He was an Alpha of great renown. His military career set him apart from the other men in uniform. His bravery and leadership earned him the respect of the elite who quickly recruited him after his “retirement” to join their echelons. The wealth and power he had amassed from his investments and business dealings with them had surprised and surpassed everyone who thought they could use him for their own gains. They never knew they were the pawns until the game was over.
But as everyone spoke at her of the status and opportunity this match would afford her, assuming her dreams were the same as every other omega, they ignored the rumors of his exacting, stern nature. He was famous for it. Punishing full garrisons for not meeting his standards. Decimating anyone who got in his way.
What kind of life would that give her? Would she be punished for every transgression? A simple opinion? An ignored order? A hair out of place?
Where would it end? Would her life consist of walking on eggshells to avoid her next chastisement? Well, no thank you. Some other omega could fill that position to be his living doll and servant. She would find another way to survive. She’d made it this far.
Her father was the one who wanted the prestige and connections, not her. Why did Steve even want her? He’d turned down dozens of obedient and sweet omegas that would have loved to serve him. She knew she was seen as an aberration. An omega with a mind and spirit of her own. No one else wanted her when they could have another so much more pliable.
The whole idea of existing solely for the pleasure of someone else seemed wrong somehow. Especially for someone she had never met. She wasn’t consulted at all. She only knew about the negotiations from eavesdropping until she was caught by her maid. Would there ever be a time when she wasn’t watched?
She paused. Her nose lifted as she sniffed the air. Something wasn’t right. The hair stood on the back of her neck. He was here.
She moved quickly. Turning off the light. What next? What could she do? Running out into the woods was dangerous. Could she make it to the car? Where would she go? How far could she make it? There was no other option. She grabbed her purse by the front door and bolted outside.
Moonlight reflected off the silver hood of the small two-door coupe. Sitting in the driver’s seat, she pushed the start button. Nothing happened. She tried again. Nothing. No lights. No sounds. Completely disabled.
Steve slipped into the cabin as Daisy fumbled with the car he tampered with earlier. She was panicking. Her pheromones were all over the place. Flooding his senses. His instincts to calm and protect warred with the need to dominate. Her next move would determine his course of action.
She hurried back to the cabin unaware of his presence. He watched from the shadows observing the way she moved, her curves in the moonlight that shone through the cracks of the curtains, the length of her neck exposed by the collar of her t-shirt. She was so beautiful. Her eyes widened, lips parted, body tense with anxiety.
He longed to push her against the wall, burying his nose against her, breathing her in, nuzzling the spot that would soon bear his mark. He’d make sure she’d feel him at all times once they were bonded. Mated. Their connection would tether them together forever.
Steve held his breath, willing his heart to slow, his mind to focus, his blood to stop rushing to his cock. A predator must have sharp instincts, keeping his mind on the hunt. It was only worth it if the prey gave him a good chase. So far, she was far more entertaining and exciting than any of the other women who simpered and attempted to entice him. He wanted to see this to the end of the line. To truly corner her and see the submission take over. It would be exquisite to watch that change wash over her.
Locking the door behind her, she turned, scanning the room. She pushed a table in front of the door. She was trying to barricade it. Trying to keep her Alpha from her. The brazen disrespect. The bravery. The foolishness.
Just like that dominance won.
She retreated up the stairs. Sweet, girl. She really did need him to protect her. To teach her how an omega should act. To show her what she needed.
He heard furniture scraping across the floor as she once again tried to block his way. She should know nothing would ever stop him from finding her. From having her.
Daisy opened the window, climbing out on the sloping rooftop. The shingles rubbed against her bare feet. She vowed to sleep in shoes from now on, ready to run at all times if she could just get away. Her toes gripped the painted wooden slats of a trellis that covered the side of the house as she climbed down, praying her makeshift ladder would hold her weight.
The car was out of the question. Could she make it to the fancy chalet she’d heard of? Surely, some staff should be there. They would at least have a car she could borrow--okay, steal. Maybe a phone.
Steve would follow her scent. He would find her trail and catch up before she could even come up with a good plan. Her scent. She had to do something about that. Her feet hit the dirt and sprinted into the forest, ignoring the rocks and nettles that cut into her soles. Branches and bushes snagged at her pajamas. She had to keep going.
A river divided this property with its neighbor. It would be cold, but it would wash away enough of her pheromones for a short time to give her a chance at a head start. Her heart stopped as a fierce growl split the night air. Ignoring the small part of her that wanted to cower, to beg for forgiveness, she pushed on.
Reaching the river, her breath caught in her throat as the cold water soaked through her pajama pants. She submerged herself ignoring the way the water seemed to stab every pore. She rubbed her exposed skin. Dunking her head once more, she scrubbed her scalp as best she could. He would have to use actual tracking skills instead of scent alone. It might buy her some time.
Her teeth chattered as she took off through the trees in what she hoped was the right direction. She choked down a sob of relief as the dark shape of the chalet was illuminated by the moon when she reached the clearing of its expansive grounds. She would be safe.
Steve’s throat was raw as he scoured the empty bedroom, curtains danced in the breeze from the open window. How could one omega cause so much chaos?
He knew when he saw her, she was the one for him. When he finally got close enough for her scent to tease his senses, he was determined to have her. Such a sweet face. But hidden beneath the pleasing facade was a will. One that would challenge him.
All the other women, betas and omegas alike, were too obedient. Too compliant. Where was the fun in dominating an already submissive person? He didn’t get where he was today by taking the easy route. When he finally got his hands on her, bent her to his will, it would be worth all the effort. The trick, however, would be to bend not break.
He tore through the house. Pushing furniture out of his path. Not caring if he knocked frames off the wall or knick-knacks off surfaces. The whole cabin could burn to the ground. He didn’t give a damn. He only had one goal. Nothing else mattered.
Daisy already belonged to him. Her father had signed the papers. They were filed with the court. He would have given her a ceremony but felt she wouldn’t appreciate a public display. Obviously, his assumption was correct. Once he had her in his grips, he would make sure everyone knew who she belonged to. Especially her.
He would have her begging for him, clawing at him, pleading for his claim.
Cool air hit his face as he walked into the night. His head tilted to the star-filled sky, inhaling deeply. Fear, anxiety, and that hint of rose.
He started running, following the trail she left for him. The fear was understandable and deserved. He was furious. Rightly so. To deny an Alpha what was his was unheard of. He would not be made a fool of.
The trail was as straight as an arrow leading straight to a river where it died. Clever, little omega. But if this was the direction she was heading, he knew exactly where she was going.
Pulling out his phone, he opened an app. He pressed a few buttons and smiled as he set his trap. Turning around, he changed course. Letting her believe she won would make his victory all the sweeter.
Daisy approached the massive chalet. Keeping to the hedges that lined the gravel driveway, she snuck her way to the garage. It had three doors allowing for at least 6 cars to be parked inside. Peering in the window, she expected to see an array of vehicles but saw nothing save empty space.
It was the off-season. Skiing was still months away but usually, there was still staff on property at a place like this. Where were they?
She realized that the lights were all off. Even the ones that should have illuminated the entrances. She approached the back door of the main house, searching for cameras or any other clues as to whether there was a security system. No signs alluded to that. If she was lucky she could find a way in. A place to hide until she could find a better escape route.
She didn’t have her purse, hell, she didn’t even have shoes. Maybe she could use something in the mansion to figure out what to do next.
God, how did her life get to this? All she wanted was a say in her future. A choice. She knew what she was. What was expected. She only wanted to be heard. Her father ignored her protests when Steve started making his intentions known, but her father’s ambition knew no bounds, especially as an aging Alpha. Connections to Steve would bolster his own standings. So Daisy found herself as many omegas did. A means to an end.
She reached for the door and turned the knob, ready to run at the sound of an alarm not expecting only the small click as the door readily opened. Finally, some good luck.
The kitchen she entered was impressive, outfitted for a gourmet to work mouth-watering miracles. Multiple stove tops and ovens. State-of-the-art appliances. For a second, she contemplated searching for some food but the sight of a laptop on a small section of countertop below shelves filled with cookbooks caught her eye. She flipped the computer open and prayed there wasn’t a password to open it. Shivering in her still damp clothes, she sighed in relief when no prompt appeared and a normal screen illuminated the dark kitchen.
She clicked the internet browser and started typing. She needed to know what else was near her. Pulling up satellite images of the area, she scrolled searching for a cabin or anything nearby to hide in until she could sneak back for her things.
Her ears pricked at the sound of an engine rumbling in the distance. Tires crunched gravel as they slowly spun closer. Lights from the driveway shone through the windows. Was it him? The owners? A housekeeper?
Not taking any chances, she shut the laptop and ran. She needed a hiding place. Weighing her options, she prayed the person driving up was not who she thought it was. But deep down she knew. She knew her time was limited. Knew he was coming for her. And knew he was enraged.
Steve looked at his app. Since purchasing the chalet last week when he discovered the cabin scheme, he hated all the automated features. Now, he could see their value. He could see that she, indeed, took the bait and opened the back door he unlocked for her. No other doors or windows had been opened. Daisy was still inside.
She would learn there was no way to escape him and disobedience would not be tolerated. He had no desire to discipline her. But if that was what it took, he would happily oblige.
He followed her path inside. The kitchen tile was littered with wet spots where her clothes dripped from her dip in the river. He’d have to get her out of those sooner rather than later. Warm her body to keep her from catching cold. His lips curved as he imagined their bodies creating a delicious friction as he moved over her.
He opened the laptop, noting the satellite image. Sweet Daisy, still plotting against him. The sooner she accepted him the better. He wanted her more than anything, and he always got what he wanted.
He walked through the formal living room. He hated everything about this room. The decor was too ostentatious for his taste. Pausing to take his jacket off, he laid it across the back of the gilt trim of the red velvet couch. Unfortunately, the quickest way to buy this house was to buy all the gaudy trimmings with it, expediting the former owner’s ability to vacate. If he decided to keep it, Daisy could decorate it how she saw fit, creating a beautiful nest in the mountains.
Steve followed the trail of breadcrumbs she so conveniently left for him, although her scent was detectable enough for him to use now. The pull to follow her scent then cover it with his was strong. It was in his nature for him to want to claim what was his. To put to rest in everyone’s mind who she belonged to. Especially hers. But he wanted to be covered in hers too. To smell her on him, surrounding him. To belong to her as well. The thought of it aroused him more than he would admit.
He ran his hand along the banister as he climbed the stairs. Her emotions swirled with her pheromones, an intoxicating elixir of fear, anticipation, panic, and anger. Oh, this will be fun.
Daisy knew this hiding place was stupid but she was out of options. Desperation was all that was left. She prayed it was the housekeeper returning. It would be easy to explain her situation to a servant who would at best help her and at worst turn her in. But she felt in her gut that Steve was approaching.
She curled around herself as much as she could under the giant bed she discovered behind one of the many doors down the hallway she found herself in. What had she done to deserve this? Oh, I don’t know, maybe shirk your one duty as a daughter and omega? Trust in her Alphas. Accept theIr decisions. The only things she had been educated to do her entire life.
Why couldn’t she? Why couldn’t she be like every other omega? Even her mother had accepted her fate without any fuss. Her friends were all seemingly happily married and mated. Children were being born. Rarely a month went by without receiving some sort of announcement or invitation. Their entire being wrapped up in their husband and children. Why couldn’t she be happy like that?
Because their Alphas weren’t national heroes known for their ferocity off and on the battlefield. Their husbands while still Alphas were businessmen. None had ever done battle outside the boardroom. No one was scared of their husbands, least of all them.
Her hands clasped over her mouth as she heard a heavy unyielding gait approaching. All hopes of a housekeeper vanished. Those were the prowling footsteps of a large intimidating man. She sensed his anger and frustration but also his desire, which scared her most of all. The door hinges creaked as the knob twisted. She saw his boots cross the bedroom to stand next to the bed.
Steve’s heart pounded. He knew where she was. Hiding like a mouse, cowering, waiting for the claw that would deliver the death blow. Far be it for him to keep her waiting any longer.
A large hand grabbed her ankle in one swift movement. She was dragged from her hiding place, thick arms wrapping around her as his hand covered her mouth before a scream could even build in her throat. Her back was pressed against the broad expanse of his chest. A low growl vibrated behind her. She immediately froze as she felt his nose nudge against her neck and heard a deep inhale.
Steve had her in his arms, finally. He nuzzled the soft fragile skin he would break to mark her once and for all. His mouth salivated at the rapid pulse that beat against his lips. He felt his anger receding, want and need, a desperate pull to care for the rancorous scared creature in his arms, overcoming his darker desires.
“You’ve been very naughty, omega,” he whispered against her ear.
Daisy’s body shook in his grip. Whether from shock or her still damp clothes she couldn’t tell. His scent surrounded her. Tantalizing mixture of mahogany, leather, and an earthly blend of fragrances that reminded her of the forest that surrounded them. She fought her instincts to wilt against him to let all her senses blur until she knew only his presence.
She struggled against him in vain. Knowing whatever she did would not free her from his clutches. But at least he would know she was not one of his fans fawning over him and grasping at the chance to serve him.
Steve chuckled. She was still trying to rebel against him. How much longer would she deny him, deny the part of herself he knew wanted him? Hidden under all her pheromones was the almost undetectable hint of arousal. He just had to stoke that ember until it blazed all other emotions to ash.
“You’re still shivering. Not scared of me are you?” he taunted as he easily kept her from escaping him.
She huffed and twisted with all of her might to no avail, responding through gritted teeth, “No.”
He picked her up effortlessly, cradling her in his arms. “Good then let’s get you out of these wet clothes.”
She thrashed in his arms, but he held her closer, caging her against his body. He carried her out of the room, walking down the hall to a master suite. Her struggles paused as she took in the opulent space. He continued through a sitting area, past a king-sized four-poster bed to the bathroom, kicking the door open threatening to break it clear off its hinges.
He set her down on a stool in front of a vanity. “Stay.” His finger touched the tip of her nose before rolling up his sleeves. He busied himself with turning the shower on, adjusting the nozzles until steam filled the bathroom, fogging up the mirrors.
Steve turned to her, crossing his arms. “Strip.”
Daisy’s hands raised of their own volition eager to please the commanding tone of the man staring at her, but she forced them to lower transfixing him with a glare. He could take his Alpha voice and shove it. But the thing that infuriated her most at that moment was the sick amusement that played across his face, his blue eyes alight as he regarded her openly, leaning against the shower door. Her fingers balled into fists on her lap, wishing she could punch his stupid handsome face.
He watched the emotions play across her face. Such an expressive countenance. They would have beautiful children, strong and fierce, willful to be sure, but beautiful.
“If you don’t do it. I’ll do it for you.” He took a step forward.
She sprung from the stool. “No!” Her hands trembled as they went to the hem of her shirt. She paused, a thought quickly occurring to her. “Wait. Shouldn’t we leave before the owners come home?” She was grasping at straws, anything to delay the inevitable.
“Oh, I don’t think we have to worry about that.” He approached her as one would a wounded wild animal. Cautiously. Wary of her unnatural need to run. Eager to tame her.
His casual demeanor set her on edge. Why wasn’t he angry? Why wasn’t he furious? He had seemed on the verge of violence at the cabin. What had changed? How could he be so composed, relaxed even? “Why not? You don’t think we could have tripped an alarm or something?” She backed up, inching away from him, eyeing the door.
“We didn’t. I turned them off before you arrived.”
Daisy stopped. Confusion muddled her mind.
Steve smiled, closing in on her. “I bought it last week since you seemed to like the area so much.” He leaned down, their noses almost touching. “Welcome home, sweetheart.”
She shook her head. He knew where she was all along. He’d been one step ahead this whole time. He bought the chalet, effectively setting a trap. All her efforts must seem so puerile. Tears blurred her vision.
“So tell me. Did your mother put that cabin in your name?” he asked, eager to find this missing piece of the puzzle.
She panicked. She never thought of that ruse coming back to her mother who had never been anything but a perfect wife and mother. “No,” she said. “She doesn’t know anything.”
“Then how does an omega come to be registered as the owner of anything?” he asked. He was genuinely curious how she had pulled this off.
“I saw the papers on my father’s desk at home waiting for his signature. I knew he wouldn’t proofread anything that had already made it past his lawyers. So I changed it to my name while he was out.”
His eyebrows raised. He was impressed and astonished at the lengths she had gone to. Should he be offended? All this to avoid being with him?
She flinched as Steve's hands reached for the shirt that clung to her body. Did she think he would harm her? The thought she may have a reason for such a reaction made his blood simmer. He quickly peeled the shirt off. Her flannel pajama pants were down around her ankles before she had time to protest, leaving her in nothing but her undergarments. Trying to conceal her body, he pulled her arms down by her sides.
“No hiding from me. Not ever again.” His blues eyes bore into hers, willing her to feel and accept that command.
Warm lips pressed against her forehead sending a shiver down her body as it reacted to the contact. Her brain seemed to slow. Her body exhausted as her adrenaline crashed.
Steve moved away, curious as to how she would react now that her body was no longer functioning on fight or flight. Would she calm and accept him? Continue to defy him and her nature? “The rest of it.”
Daisy shook her head then fumbled for a towel off the rack. Stumbling past him, she tossed the towel over the glass wall of the shower. She pulled open the door, sending a scowl over her shoulder as she stepped inside, letting it slam shut behind her. She was already wet. What was a little more water on the scraps of clothing still clinging to her? She took off her bra and panties letting them fall to the shower floor with a squelching splat.
The scalding water ran over her body but still, she felt the imprints of where he touched her. They heated her flesh far more than the shower that engulfed her. Taking the soaps available, she scrubbed trying to rid herself of his touch. Masculine bouquets surrounded her as the bubbles ran down her body stinging each scrape and scratch she received from the forest.
Steve listened to her lather her body, wishing he was in there to wash her himself. There would be time for that. He could smell his soap in the air. If he couldn’t scent her with his body, his soap would have to do. He gathered her something to sleep in and returned before she had finished.
He combed his fingers through his hair before attacking his beard in frustration. She was here. Naked. His to take. But it was essential to play this smart. To show her what she needed until she wanted it. Until it sent her into her first estrous and into his bed willingly, sealing their bond and her fate.
The towel disappeared over the wall. The shower door opened and Daisy walked out covered in the fluffy linen. He handed her the clothing he picked out for her. His shirt. She would be surrounded by him, unable to escape his presence.
She took the shirt and stared at him. Waiting. “Do you mind?”
“I don’t.” He smiled as he saw her hackles raise.
“Well I do, so please leave.” Her hands gripped the edge of the towel wrapped around her chest. His smile affected her more than she wanted to admit. She would not lose herself in him.
This would be interesting. He stood his ground. He had never retreated in all the battles he had fought. He would not start now. “No.”
Daisy looked at the shirt which she realized must belong to him, and put her arms through it, careful not to disturb her towel. She quickly lifted it over her head, pulling it down over the towel before wiggling and letting the wet linen fall to the floor. She hung it up to dry before observing Steve’s displeasure as she walked out of the bathroom.
She rummaged through the drawers in a dresser. She needed underwear, boxers, anything that she could wear under this shirt although it came down to the tops of her thighs.
“Looking for something?” He asked in the reflection of the mirror that sat atop the dresser.
“You only gave me a shirt. I need something more.” She opened drawers full of socks and undershirts. Nothing that would help her. Her gaze traveled around the room looking for an armoire or chest of drawers that might hold what she needed but found none.
Steve pulled the navy and silver covers on the bed back exposing pristine white sheets.“I only gave you a shirt because all you’ll be wearing is a shirt. That’s all I want you to wear. Lay down.”
Daisy shook her head. She wasn’t ready for this. She wasn’t ready for her head to be swimming from his scent that surrounded her, clinging to her skin, covering her body. She wasn’t ready for his pheromones to be inundating her senses. Wasn’t ready for the way her body immediately followed his command to lay down.
As she laid in the bed, Steve pulled the covers over her, tucking her in. Before she could fight, he took a leather cuff with a long chain fastening one end to the bed and the other around her wrist. “Go to sleep,” he said before she could fight him. She was exhausted and scared. But he could not trust her to stay where he put her.
She curled up on the mattress eyeing Steve warily. To her surprise, he did not leap on her. He didn’t even crawl in bed. Instead, he left her there. Alone with only her thoughts.
She was chained to a bed with the man who thought he owned her. Who legally did. He was her Alpha whether she wanted it or not, and husband even without a wedding ceremony. She knew she should be planning her next escape but her eyes closed and her mind quieted no matter how hard she tried to stay awake.
After a shower, Steve climbed into bed next to his sleeping bride. He pulled her close to him, ignoring the way she stiffened in his arms. He loved the feel of her body against his. She fit perfectly. He felt his cock hardening despite his pure intentions as he settled his erection snuggly against her backside. God, how he wanted to feel how well he fit inside her. Draping an arm around her, he burrowed his nose against her neck.
Daisy felt his considerable hardness pressing into her. She tried to wiggle out of his arms, but it seemed to only stoke his desires more as he squeezed her tighter. She didn’t want to encourage him but also didn’t want to be in his arms.
“Don’t worry. I won’t force you,” he murmured against her skin. “I won’t have to. You’ll be begging me soon enough.”
She threw an elbow in his stomach the best she could. “No, I won’t.” It would be a cold day in hell before she begged him. She froze as she felt his chest vibrating, a deep rumble. “What are you doing?”
He frowned. Did she really not know? How was that possible? “Soothing you.” He kept purring, knowing eventually she wouldn’t be able to resist it.
“Why?” Her mind began to buzz. Concentration was difficult.
“I want you to be happy.”
“No. You want me to be compliant,” she countered.
“Those aren’t mutually exclusive.” His thumb was drawing lazy circles over her hand.
She struggled to slap his hand away. His voodoo was proving far too effective. “If you really wanted me to be happy, you would have let me go.”
“Being alone and afraid. Struggling to provide for yourself….that wouldn’t make you happy.”
“Neither will being someone’s slave,” she muttered. She’d seen girls who had once been her friends in school paraded around as objects. Forced to serve. Although maiden omegas weren’t allowed to interact with married omegas, even from a distance she didn’t see much of the girls she once knew in the arm candy she saw as she spied on parties hosted by her parents. They were quiet and reserved. Obedient. No longer the carefree girls she once knew.
Steve concentrated on matching his breathing to hers. Lulling her with his body. Teaching it to rely on him for comfort until she slept in his arms.
That’s why she ran? She thought he wanted a slave? Though it was true some Alphas abused their position and mistreated their omegas, she couldn’t believe he would do that to her. Could she?
He was aware that he was demanding and stringent. He was harsh and quick to anger in the heat of the moment. Although being in her presence made his baser instincts roar to life, the urge to push her up against the wall and fuck her always clawing its way to the forefront of his mind, he would never actually hurt her. What the hell had she heard about him?
It rankled him that she could have been poisoned against him. Women usually fought for his attention. He had assumed she was just a willful, spoiled creature scared of mating. But was it him she actually objected to? She shifted in his embrace, a plaintive little moan humming at her lips as his inner turmoil disrupted her sleep. He willed himself to focus on what he could control. He could control himself. To a certain degree, he could control her. He would make her see what life would be like. Everything he could give her until she could not resist anymore.
Steve woke up the next morning his nostrils flared at the most seductive scent filling the air. It took him a moment to realize where it came from. He laid on his back staring at the ceiling. Daisy had one leg draped over his thigh, her body pressed against his. The long chain laying between them. He could feel the hard points of her nipples through the shirt she wore. It had ridden up high over her hips, exposing her naked bottom half. Her pussy ground against his thigh, slick arousal coating his leg as little mewling moans caused his already hard cock to throb.
He gritted his teeth, fighting his instincts. It would be so easy to turn towards her and sink his dick into the depths of her wet warmth. He snatched the hand that clawed at his chest. “Daisy,” his graveled voice rougher than he intended. Her movement stilled and felt the shift in her pheromones as her mind woke and became aware.
Daisy looked from her hand to the bare muscular chest she had been using as a pillow to her naked lower half wrapped around his thigh. He wore only boxer briefs that did nothing to hide his obvious lust. “What are you doing to me?” She tried to push away from him but got tangled in the chain that had wrapped around her arm.
“I’m not doing anything,” he said. “You’re the one molesting my leg.”
Heat spread across her face. “Wha-no-I’d never--” A flash of a memory, no a dream she just woke from, sent her stomach plummeting. “No!” She wasn’t sure if she was yelling at him or herself as she shoved away from him, but she found herself on her back. An angry Alpha pinning her wrists to the mattress, fixing her with a glare, loomed over her.
He’d had enough of that word. It flowed so freely from her mouth, but she had no idea what it did to him or what she was refusing for that matter.
Her breath was stolen from her lungs as her eyes traveled over his imposing figure. His face, even with rumpled hair and beard, was breathtaking. His body chiseled and powerful. Her legs pressed together as a wave of unfamiliar emotions washed over her. She watched as his pupils dilated, eclipsing the blue of his iris. No longer just an Alpha, he was a predator. His knees nudged and edged their way between hers spreading her legs wide.
Exposed in a way she’d never been, her heart raced. She wrestled against his grip. “No--you said--”
Steve stared down. Her pussy was soaked, glistening in the morning sun. “I said I wouldn’t force you until you asked for it. I never said I wouldn’t touch you. Or taste you.” He watched the confusion play over her features. Her innocence drove him to the brink.
Keeping her free wrist pinned, he shifted down her body. Her nipples were hard, visible beneath the shirt that covered them. He cupped the soft mound, pinching and pulling the peak until she arched into his hand. His face trailed down her abdomen reveling in the softness of her.
She watched his head sinking further down her body, the weight of him making it difficult to move, and the anticipation of what he might do keeping it still. He couldn’t possibly mean to actually taste her. His breath whispered over her slick folds spurring her into action. Thwarting her rebellion, he positioned her legs over his shoulders. There was no escape.
Steve groaned in ecstasy as his tongue spread her even further as he licked his way to her clit. The scent and taste of her were intoxicating, his blood rushed, head dizzy with the high of feasting on her. He left no part untouched, unexplored as he lapped and nibbled. His teeth grazed her bundle of nerves before his lips latched on, sucking her clit into his mouth.
Her hips bucked against him, but Daisy was too far gone in new sensations to know whether she was still fighting to escape or searching for more. Her body betrayed her mind. She knew she should be mad, furious even, with how easily it had succumbed to his touch. However, she could not bring herself to focus on anything other than the pleasure she was feeling for the first time.
He felt the moment her body relaxed. Her hand in his hair no longer pulling but pushing him harder against her. He slipped one finger inside her silken heat. Her heels dug into his back as she arched away from his invasion. Her thighs begin to spasm. He felt her muscles clenching around him as he pumped into her wetness, curling his finger, burying it to his knuckle over and over. Adding another finger, he felt her stretch to accommodate. His tongue focused on her clit as he worked her body until she matched his pace.
“Yes,” he praised. “This is how you move when I’m inside you.”
She fisted the sheets in her tethered hand. Her body was hot. Sweat blooming across her skin as he stoked the fire that burned in her core. Never had her body felt anything this intense. She felt full and yet empty. It wasn’t right. It wasn’t enough. She needed more. But what that meant exactly, she didn’t quite know.
Pleasure to the point of pain was coiling inside her. Tightening and twisting. Building and constricting. His lips sucked her clit in tandem with the rhythm set by his fingers. He was relentless and focused. Her whole body seized as waves of pleasure wracked her body until she was left with nothing but a floating sensation, the only thing grounding her was the man repositioning himself between her thighs.
He surveyed his bride, his mate, his omega. Spread beneath him as she should be. Open and willing. He could take her now. But wouldn’t. He was a man of his word but like hell, he wouldn’t use her body to slake his own desires. He pulled his boxer briefs down. He slid his cock through her soaking slit, coating himself in her slick juices until it dripped off his dick.
Gripping his shaft in his fist, he thrust forcefully, his knuckles rubbing against her cunt, flicking her clit with each movement. He grunted as he imagined rutting inside her. Her moans grew loud as another orgasm built within her. He maintained his pace, intent on watching her climax again. He felt a gush against his hand as she came once more. Pulling back, his fist pumping roughly, his balls tightened before his cock pulsed. Thick streams of cum covered her pussy as he growled, spent, and shaken.
Sitting back on his heels, he took a deep breath as his heart hammered in his chest. His thumb rubbed each little puddle into her skin until she was coated in a thin layer of him. He pulled his boxers up, undid her cuff, and left the bed.
Daisy curled to her side, pulling her shirt down. What had just happened? She had been instructed on basic mating practices, but nothing had mentioned anything like that. Her body had turned traitor and responded to his every move. And worse, enjoyed every second of it.
She was still throbbing and sticky between her legs. She felt satiated yet also bereft of him. There was an emptiness that she had never noticed before, a void that she needed filled. And she knew against her wishes that he was the only one who could fill it. What was wrong with her? How could she feel this way?
Steve hadn’t meant to go that far. He wanted to take things slow but having her grinding against him and then pinned beneath him was too much for him to resist. But maybe this needed to happen. The more they were near each other, the more their pheromones and fluids mixed, the faster she would go into heat. Then she would want him and he could claim her properly the way he should have weeks ago.
A soft knock on the door broke the awkward silence that built between them. He saw her snatch the covers over her, eyes wide.
“It’s just Mrs. Klein, the housekeeper. I asked her to come by this morning and leave us some breakfast.”
“She knows we’re here? I’m here. That we’re--” Daisy groaned. She felt her cheeks heating. This was all too much too fast.
“That we’re on our honeymoon and require privacy? Yes, she is aware and will be discreet. You won’t see her. She’s just here to make sure we have sustenance without having to worry about it. We’ll be too busy.” Steve winked and opened the door, picking up the two trays that were left.
One was full of pastries, fruits, eggs, and bacon. The other had a coffee pot, mugs, creamer, and orange juice. He carried both trays with ease setting them on the bed where Daisy sat aghast with the knowledge that there was a witness to her captivity.
“Who else knows we’re here?” she asked quietly.
“After I texted Mrs. Klein, I sent word to your family that I found you. They were relieved, to say the least.”
“Yeah, happy their deal wasn’t broken.” Her arms crossed, lips pursed in a pout she knew would come off childish but the mere mention of her family made her feel like one again.
Steve tipped her face towards him. “They are happy you are safe.” He plucked a strawberry off the plate, offering it to her.
She shook her head. “I’m not hungry. I want to take a shower.” Her stomach empty since yesterday morning growled, giving away her feeble lie.
“No. You need to eat.”
“I feel disgusting. I want to shower first.”
“No.” Steve stood to his full height. He couldn’t let her shower. They needed the proximity. But did she know that? “Do you know what happens between an Alpha and his omega? Why there is a honeymoon?”
“I know the basics.” Her words were clipped belying her discomfort at the subject change.
“Really? Because you seemed very surprised by what we just did?”
Embarrassment and dismay play across her features. “The sisters never said anything about mouths down there! Or hands,” she countered defensively.
Steve’s mouth gaped. “You were taught by elderly maiden omegas? About mating? They thought those cold old hags would be the best to teach that?” Everyone knew about the boarding schools omegas were sent to. But he naturally assumed they were taught by Betas, not the old crones that ran religious organizations vowing lives of chastity and service. “We aren’t allowed to learn from anyone else.” Her brows furrowed at his confusion.
“What do you mean? What did you learn at school?” He was genuinely concerned. He assumed she would be fully aware of their dynamics and her role in their relationship prior to their marriage.
“Reading, writing, math. Enough history and science to make light conversation but not enough to offer any opinions which we’re never to express without being directly asked,” she huffed. “We were taught domestic skills, social etiquette, how to cater to everyone else’s needs but our own, to shove any personal feelings aside for the benefit of our Alpha and future children.” She bit her lip scared she had gone too far.
“But surely you were able to research on your own after you left school?” he asked. She had lived with her family for the last 3 years. They had to have given her more opportunities to learn.
“I’m not allowed to have access to information. I wasn’t even allowed to watch television except for pre-approved shows and movies with a chaperone present. I had a list of books I was allowed to read. My younger brother has had a tablet, computer, and television in his bedroom since he was 6 because he’s an Alpha.” A sly grin spread across her face. “I stole his tablet once. Let everyone think he lost it but it had parental locks on it.” She sighed. “I was sent back to school early that summer when they found it under my mattress.”
For the first time in his life, Steve was shell-shocked. He had assumed her willfulness was born out of indulgence from her parents. She hadn’t been spoiled. She had been smothered. Deliberately kept ignorant and treated as a subservient.
Daisy watched him. She could see that he was upset. Even more terrifying, she could feel it. She wanted to reach out to him. To touch his arm and give him reassurance but she didn’t. If anyone got to be upset about this it was her. He was given all the advantages because of his designation in life. How could he not know how omegas were treated? Alphas were the ones who devised the education system.
“Why? Why wouldn’t they teach you what you wanted to know?” he asked.
“They leave most of the education to the Alphas once an omega is mated,” she shrugged, “probably so they can teach us what they want us to know. So our opinions are the same as theirs. So we don’t expect anything they aren’t willing to give us. You can’t argue if you don’t know any different.”
He stared at her. What she said made sense. He had never thought much about omegas until he had seen her. She expected to be treated like a slave because that’s exactly what she was brought up to be. Was that what he wanted? He wanted an omega that would be there for him. That would support him and love him. But he didn’t want to crush that spark that made her special. He wanted her because she was different from the others.
His plans to dominate her thoroughly snuffed, he reexamined his options. If he pushed too hard, she would crumble and become just another vacant doll. If he did nothing, she would reject him and keep running. There had to be another way.
Steve paced for a few minutes, aware of the way her head followed him like she was watching a tennis match. How could he gain her trust? How could he show her it didn’t have to be as she feared?
He poured himself a coffee, skipping the creamer and sugar cubes. He needed something stronger but this would do. “After an Alpha and omega are married they need to be mated and the omega claimed to create a bond. We’ll be linked in a way that allows us to feel and care for each other’s emotional state.”
Fuck. He was not expecting to have to explain this to his wife. “The honeymoon is important because up to that point an omega is kept safe away from Alphas other than immediate family to keep her from going into estrous. A typical honeymoon is 2 weeks to give them time to get the omega into her cycle and to help her through it.
“It’s important for you to eat and drink so that you have strength. You won’t feel like eating while you are in heat. So I’ll make you a deal. You sit with me and eat breakfast in bed,” he grabbed a remote and pushed a button that moved two panels on the wall revealing a television, “and we’ll watch whatever you want.” He held out the remote to her like an olive branch, a promise that he was not what she thought.
Cautiously, she reached out and took the black control. “Anything I want?”
He crawled in bed next to her, readjusted the trays, and settled back against the pillows and headboard. Ignoring her attempts to scoot away, he plucked her up and deposited her between his legs. “Relax.” Hesitantly, she leaned back. “Here, eat.” He held a bright red strawberry to her mouth again, watching the way her lips wrapped around the sweet berry. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, willing his desires away for now.
Daisy tolerated the giant behind her feeding her bites of fruit and sweetbreads as she channel-surfed for the first time. She settled on the news eager to see his reaction to her learning about the world. To her surprise, he said nothing. Even more surprising was his willingness to answer the questions she asked herself out loud. Soon, he was explaining economics, politics, science, and history on a level she never knew possible. Her mind buzzed with questions and new information.
When the news finally circled back around through their cycle she settled on a movie she’d heard her brother talking about. It had been deemed too violent for her delicate sensibilities. There were gunfights, explosions, and blood...so much blood. She loved it.
Steve enjoyed seeing her mind work through the information he had given her. She was surprisingly bright and intelligent. Why that should surprise him, he didn’t know. But he supposed intelligence had never been a quality he had thought important in an omega. He was amused when she chose an action movie. Her need for stimulation was something he knew he would enjoy satisfying.
All the while she was distracted with her window to the world, he touched and caressed her. At first, she flinched or stiffened, but by the time credits rolled, his fingers trailing the tops of her thighs didn’t garner a reaction at all.
“I’m tired,” she said blinking slowly. “May I take a shower now? Please, Steve. I feel gross and I smell bad. I don’t want to sleep dirty.” Her voice had turned plaintive, petulant even as she pouted in his arms.
He smiled indulgently. It was the first time she said his name. Whining meant she was feeling more comfortable in his presence. How could he deny her? “I think you smell delicious,” he teased. “But since you’ve been a good girl and asked so nicely, I’ll go start the shower for you.”
Daisy let the water flow over her, eyes closed letting her sore muscles relax. It was so good to be clean. She didn’t ever want to leave the shower. This was her life now. The sound of the shower door opening broke her reverie.
Steve stepped in appreciating her fully naked form for the first time until she spun away from him.
“What are you doing?” she squeaked. She peeked over her shoulder, her eyes traveling over his body, pausing at his obvious arousal.
“You’re not the only one who’s dirty.” He reached around her gathering soap in his hands, creating a lather then spreading the bubbles over her shoulders that tensed under his touch, kneading and massaging her muscles until her hands reached for the wall, bracing herself. His hands traveled lower down her back working on either side of her spine until she melted against him.
Steve turned his attention to himself. Though she was not openly gawking, he knew she was stealing glances when she thought he couldn’t see her. As he washed his body, soapy suds running down the planes of his abdomen, he gripped his shaft, stroking the hard length. He caught her wrist and brought her hand to his cock. “Touch me.”
Daisy knew she should pull away but she opened her fist, wrapping her fingers around him. It was smoother than the veiny rigid visage insinuated. He guided her hand at first then let her explore at her own pace. Her thumb followed the dark blue ridges to the bulbous tip. How something this size was supposed to fit in her she didn’t know, but a rush of liquid heat between her legs signaled her body’s willingness to try.
She barely knew this man and yet her body knew and accepted him. Wanted him. It was enough to drive her mad. Why was her biology designed to overrule her common sense? It was unfair and alarming that nothing seemed within her control. She felt Steve shudder as she gently squeezed him. Another stroke and the formidable Alpha moaned. Because of her.
Her light touches and delicate squeezes were exquisite torture. Suddenly her grip changed. Her movements more determined, assertive. Her hands slid up and down his soapy cock. “Yes,” his voice no more than a graveled groan. “Just like that. So perfect.” His hips snapped as he drove forcefully in her grasp. “Beautiful omega, squeeze me tighter. You won’t hurt me.” Low rough grunts gave way to desperate growls as he rutted in her hand.
She watched his knees buckle, hands flexing against the immoveable tile wall. His head flew back as his entire body shook. He groaned obscenely, still thrusting. White spurts shot from his pulsing member coating her fingers.
Steve sighed, his body satiated for the moment. His eyes opened observing the wicked gleam in hers as she washed her hands smiling to herself. Someone discovered a new feeling. One he recognized immediately, swirling with her contentment and desire. Power.
He kissed her brow which furrowed under his lips. Turning the shower off, he set about getting them both dry and concluded in the process that she must have been truthful about being tired as she passively accepted his hands, running towels over her skin. He dressed her once more in his shirt and nothing else, giving her the illusion of modesty.
When they entered the room, fresh linens were on the bed as well as new trays laden with sandwiches and water. Daisy crawled past the food. All that mattered was her head resting on the fluffy white pillow inches from her. She was snatched from her objective and plopped onto Steve’s lap.
“Eat then sleep.” He fed her, ignoring the way she resented his care and attention, encouraging her to take one more bite and one more sip of water repeatedly before finally tucking her in. Throwing on a robe that had appeared on the couch in the sitting area, he guarded his omega as she rested peacefully. Watching and waiting.
He tried to wake her for dinner but could not rouse her. He was concerned but assumed that after weeks on the run, fending for herself for the first time in her life, and the shock of finally being caught, exhaustion had finally overcome her. Selfishly, he wanted her awake. He wanted to watch her, absorbing all her movements and quirks. To enjoy seeing her experience new things. He looked forward to teaching her more.
Daisy continued to sleep until the next morning. She thrashed beside him in bed, kicking the covers off and pulling them back up in turn. He almost lost a hand when he tried to calm her. She pushed and shoved him until he stumbled out of bed, muttering repeatedly, “This bed isn’t right. It’s wrong.” She ruffled the covers, fluffed the pillows, and scowled. “It’s not right,” she groaned.
“What’s not right, sweetheart?” he asked, at a loss for how to help.
But she didn’t respond. She didn’t even seem to hear him. Her shirt clung to her skin, sweat soaking through the cotton fabric. She was in heat.
Steve hadn’t expected it to hit her so soon or so hard. He left the room on a mission. Nesting material. He should have prepared better. Why hadn’t he thought of it sooner? She wouldn’t have known. He walked through each bedroom until he found a down feather duvet. Returning to the room he laid it on the edge of the bed where it was snatched immediately.
He searched every room and linen closet gathering pillows and blankets. Back and forth through the hall searching for soft materials for his omega. He left them by the bed where she grabbed and tested each one, either tossing it to the side in a pile of rejects or adding it to her collection. He learned quickly that she preferred chenille to flannel and feathers to batting.
She lined up, stacked and restacked her materials until a walled border around the perimeter of the mattress was formed. When her first nest was finished, she peeled her shirt off, dropping it to the floor, and curled up in the middle satisfied with her hard work and content for the first time in hours.
He dozed on the couch until he woke to whimpers and whining. She was clutching her stomach, her body twisting in heated agony. He was the only one who could give her the relief she needed. Her pheromones flooded his senses. Stripping, he laid down next to her.
Her head lifted as she sniffed the air before locking eyes with him. Gone was the girl from yesterday, in her place a creature of pure need was left. Eyes dilated, shrewd and focused on him, she trailed her nose down his body. Tongue and teeth tasting and teasing. She snarled when he reached out to touch her, his hand falling to the mattress. Relinquishing control for the first time, he was at the mercy of his omega.
Daisy took in his scent. Taking the edge off her burning core, she licked his skin and felt relief. She needed more. Her fingertips ghosted over his erection, tracing each purple vein. Such a strong body. She rubbed her cheek down his length, a single drop gathering on its tip. Dragging her tongue up his shaft, she took him firmly in hand, moaning as she circled her mouth around his girth enjoying the salty taste of him.
Steve watched her cheeks hollow as she pulled her head back then slid back down, endeavoring to fit as much of his cock in her mouth as she could. His once reluctant omega worked his body with enthusiasm as if she were starved and he alone could satiate her hunger. He shuddered as her hands roamed his body, fingernails etching his skin with vivid red scores as she pulled them back. He wanted it. He wanted the pleasure. The pain. He wanted to see proof of their mating written all over his body for days. Was he weak to want to be marked by her?
He growled as her teeth scraped the edge of his spit-slicked cock. Her eyes locked with his. She wanted his attention on her and nowhere else. Her hands stroked the base, barely able to close around him, as her mouth worked the tip. Her pace purposeful and driven. Her only goal was to see him undone beneath her. Her cadence increased. She straddled his leg, wetness coating his shin as she rocked against him.
He fisted the feather down duvet beneath him, trying to hold back, to make this last longer. But she would not be denied. His hips thrust into her mouth, no longer willing to listen to reason. His body wanted that sweet relief. The bliss of coming in her mouth. Of knowing she would swallow him down. Her head lowered one last time, tongue swirling, lips touching his pelvis. He shook beneath her. His muscles tightening, all air held forever in his lungs as he pulsed, his cum hitting the back of her throat. He felt her constrict around him as she swallowed every last drop.
Daisy crawled over his body ready to demand more but was tossed to her back, pinned by her Alpha. She tried to pull out of his grip, to take back control. But was cowed by a low rumbling in his chest. She glared up at him but obeyed the silent command in his gaze.
Steve had just enough awareness left to remember no matter how strong her instincts, she was inexperienced. He needed to prepare her body for what came next. He settled onto the mattress next to her. His hands traveled over her body watching the way she writhed under his touch.
She was sensitive, hot, impatient. Panting moans, signaled her desperation as his fingers brushed the apex of her thighs. She spread her legs, lifting her hips searching for the pleasure she knew he could provide. He pushed her hips down, planting them firmly against the mattress, ignoring her frustrated grunts.
He lowered his head, taking her nipple between his lips, pulling it into a stiff point before turning his attention to the other. He kept his fingers just out of reach for her, resting his hand at the top of her thigh feeling the heat radiating off her pussy. She arched against him, pressing her breast against his mouth silently urging him to give her the stimulation she craved.
Steve took her chin in his hands, forcing her to look at him “No. You are not in charge anymore. I’m your Alpha. I will give you pleasure as I see fit.” He leaned in, ready to finally kiss his mate, to feel her soft lips against his. She turned her head wrenching out of his grip. A smirk tugged the corner of his mouth. Still defiant. There was a time and place he would indulge her. That moment had passed. “That’s not how you get what you want, little girl.”
Daisy moaned against her will as his mouth suckled the sensitive curve of her neck. His teeth nipped at the spot where he would make his mark, claiming her forever. He pinched her nipple, tweaking the bud between his finger and thumb before giving it a tug that lifted her back off the mattress. He ground his hardening cock against her hip. Turning towards him, she lifted her leg over his hip.
He chuckled. “Did you want something, omega?”
Her jaw clenched, fists formed as her lust-fueled brain refused to form words for her.
“Do you want me to touch you?” He pushed her away and spread her legs wide, her thighs glistening with arousal. His fingers slipped over the wet skin, inching closer to her core but never touching it.
“Yes,” she hissed through gritted teeth.
“Are you going to be my good omega?” He brushed his thumb over her clit, with feather-light strokes.
She nodded her head, her body on fire. Want growing into need as he teased her.
“Ask me, pretty girl. Tell me you want me.” His voice a husky whisper.
All her energy was focused on his fingers and their tormenting. “Touch me. Please, Alpha,” she said with a helpless keen.
Steve moaned at the sound of her voice calling him Alpha. Her Alpha. He slid his hand over her mound, his fingers spreading her lower lips. He dipped a finger into her entrance, testing her body's reaction. She was drenched, her muscles already quivering in anticipation.
His finger slid into her pussy. Her hips jerked, taking him deeper. It took almost no effort to bring her over-sensitive body to the brink. Circling her clit with his thumb until her thighs shook, he curled his finger until she clenched around him, her orgasm ripping through her. He immediately added another finger and started over. Slow strokes, gauging her reactions, finding the spots that made her toes curl. His thumb worked her small bundle of nerves until her breathing became staccato pants as her climax built to its breaking point once more.
“Again,” he commanded as he pushed a third finger into her wet heat.
Daisy whimpered as he pumped his fingers inside her. Too much, too fast, not enough, more. Her mind was a confusing muddle of overstimulation and simultaneously never wanting this to end. Tears blurred her vision as her third orgasm coiled in her abdomen. All her muscles contracted, but his movements never ceased, prolonging her pleasure until she was limp.
He looked down at his bride, her eyes were glassy and unfocused. Her body lax except for the labored rise and fall of her chest as she fought to catch her breath. Her legs and arms spread across the bed. Open, accepting, quiescent. Exactly as she should be.
He knelt between her legs, lining himself up with her entrance. Rocking into her slowly, he was met with little resistance. Tight, wet, hot, perfect. His thrusts were slow and languid, enjoying how she squeezed around him in the aftershocks of her orgasms. His head fell back, lost to the sensations of finally being buried deep within his omega. Exquisite pleasure quenching the white-hot fervor that had burned within him for months, threatening to consume him.
Steve reached between them, his thumb brushing against her swollen clit once more. “Come for me, omega.” He needed to feel her come around his cock. Wanted to feel what he did to her body, what only he could do.
She had no choice but to obey. Her Alpha commanded and his hand would not relent. Her body sore, stretched, and filled with his hardness started climbing that precipice of rapture ready to fall off that cliff as her Alpha thrust steadily inside her slick core.
Her orgasm was almost his undoing. Her pussy a vice as she clenched and pulsed around him. He’s never known such heaven. The knowledge that she belonged to him heightening each sensation. She was his forever. No other man would know how it felt to be inside her, covered by her arousal, surrounded by the scent of their unbridled desires.
As her climax subsided, her voice hoarse, body covered in a sheen of sweat, Steve flipped her over. Pulling her hips up, forcing her to her knees, he mounted her from behind, growling at the new depths he could reach from this position. She arched her back and moaned into the bedding, her teeth biting the duvet.
His hips snapped as he drove himself into her chasing his release, the minute when he would claim her body and soul. He released her hips. Falling forward, his hands braced himself on either side of her shoulders. His mouth watered at the sight of her exposed neck. Soon.
Her fingers dug into the bedding beneath her. Her body rocked at the force of his movements. He surrounded her, body caging her, scent enveloping her, cock deep within her. Her moans became cries of ecstasy, sounds she never knew she could make. Each new sight, sound, taste, touch, scent overwhelmed and overstimulated her senses. No one could have prepared her for the reality that existed only between them.
Steve’s thrust became erratic. He was so close. He lowered his head, lips meeting the delicate flesh where her shoulder and neck met in a graceful curve. His teeth clamped down, ignoring the sharp cry beneath him as they sank into her soft flesh, blood tainted his mouth. His cock pulsed inside her, coating her walls with cum as his knot expanded, stretching her to near pain, locking him in place.
He fell to the side, pulling her with him. Laying side by side, his arms wrapped around her, breathing labored, he felt the connection of their bond strengthening. He could feel the contentment of her body and confusion of her heart. He peppered kisses along her shoulder.
His knot was firmly secured inside her, ensuring their breeding possibility. Never having taken an omega during estrous, it was new and exhilarating thinking of her becoming round with his child.
As their heart rates slowed, beating in tandem, he closed his eyes.
The next three days were blurred, each rise of body heat giving way to hours of pleasured interludes. On the fourth day, her fevered cycles broke. Leaving them soporific, satiated, and sore.
Steve let her sleep. Refusing to wake her until she no longer required repose. Showering the days of sweat and fluids down the drain, he mourned the loss of the evidence of their intimacy. He’d never felt so fulfilled. He never wanted it to end.
However, there was something to be said about finding a sense of normalcy with each other. Learning and enjoying the day-to-day routine. Taking solace in each other’s company in the quiet of the evening after a long day. They had so much to look forward to.
He dressed quickly, stealing a glance at his sleeping wife. He’d given Mrs. Klein the day off. She had been working round the clock leaving food and water at the door with a discreet knock. Though he had barely been able to get Daisy to eat or drink, the efforts of the housekeeper were appreciated. But the fruit and snacks that had sustained him over the last few days were no longer enough. He needed food. Real food. He decided to head to the store in town to buy steaks and potatoes. Maybe a bottle of wine. He’d grill and cook a filling meal that would replenish them both.
Listening to the soft snores from the bed, he gently opened the door and closed it behind him.
Daisy stretched, a pain seared in her shoulder as her arms lifted over her head. She sat up gingerly, her muscles sore. She looked around the room. The array of random pillows and blankets that surrounded her were disheveled, no longer the perfect nest. The white sheets had rust-colored stains smeared into the fabric. But the thing that panicked her the most was the fact that she was alone.
How long had she been there? How much of the last few days was real or a dream? Flashes of bodies entangled bombarded her mind. Steve over her, behind her, beside her, inside her. Disoriented and exhausted, she stumbled from the bed and made her way to the bathroom.
Tears welled in her eyes as the mirror reflected someone she did not know. A bite mark, covered in dried blood, marred her neck. She was covered in fluids dried between her legs, across her belly, and chest. Abrasions and scrapes from her trek through the forest still littered her arms and legs. How had this happened?
She was going to be so much smarter than all the girls she had known. Had judged. Here she was, claimed. Marked for all to see. Bonded to a man she barely knew.
After washing her sins away, she opened the closet. What once was only clothes for Steve, now had outfits lining half of the closet in her size. She didn’t even get to purchase her own wardrobe anymore. Pulling on one of the many sundresses available, she looked once more at her reflection. She was already his living doll. Did he only let her watch television to make her easier to sway? Easier to corner? Had any of it meant anything to him?
Had it meant anything to her?
Shame and anger amalgamated into a frenzied furor. A yearning burned in the pit of her stomach even as it twisted in disgust. She missed him. Wanted him. Through no control of her own.
She had been branded and left to wait until he deigned to visit her again. Like hell, she would.
Slipping on some flats, she left the sanctity of the bathroom, on a mission. She would find him and give him a piece of her mind. She would not be left behind, treated as a convenience to give him pleasure. Give him children. No thought given to her needs or wants.
Stalking the gaudy chalet, she searched for him only to discover she had truly been abandoned.
Isolated even after he had achieved his goals. If she was to be alone, it would be on her terms.
Angry at the way her heart seemed to shatter with each step, she left through the back door. One of the garage doors was opened, her car sitting inside. She ran inside searching for the key. There it was, hanging on a hook. Grabbing it she prayed the car would start. Pushing the button her engine roared to life.
Steve growled behind the wheel of his vehicle. He received an alert the minute she opened the back door. He would not be left. Not be humiliated again.
He seethed as he threw the groceries in the fridge and returned to his vehicle. She couldn’t have gotten far, and he knew the most likely place she would go to first.
How could she leave him? She belonged to him. She was his. His omega.
What if she was breeding? Carrying his child as she ran across the world without protection.
He used his righteous fury to bury the hurt deep down where he wouldn’t have to dwell on it. If he had, he would have recognized the crushing feeling of rejection. To know that even after all their days of intimacy, she would still try to escape him, cut him to his core.
They were mated, bonded, destined to be together. Why couldn’t she accept that?
He turned down the dirt road. The cabin he’d found her in a few days earlier came into view between trees.
Daisy stared at the bag on the bed. Money she had hidden under a floorboard laid on top of a few personal possessions and clothes that had been left behind. All she had to do was close it and leave. Why couldn’t she?
Misery had set in the further she had driven from the chalet. She knew she wasn’t the only one feeling that way.
All she had wanted was a choice in life. Now she had to make one. Did she leave? Where would she go? How far could she make it before he found her?
Or did she stay? She couldn’t deny the primal pull she felt for him. But was that enough? Could they have more? Or would she be used and discarded as he saw fit?
What did she want? No one had ever asked her and it turned out she had never even asked herself. She was so concerned with being able to make a decision for herself she never thought of what the decision would be. Her back stiffened as a grim deep voice rumbled behind her.
“Where are you going to go?” Steve asked. He watched her standing still, lost in her thoughts for what seemed like hours. He felt her confusion and hopeless anguish. His anger dissipated at the sight of his lost little omega and turned inward.
He should have been there when she woke. He could have avoided all of these feelings had he just stayed by her side to walk her through her emotions. He should have known she would be distressed after all she had been through. A few days of instincts bringing them together didn’t solve the root of the issue for her as he did for him.
Relief instantly flooded her body. He was here. His presence bringing a calm to the chaos flustering her brain. “I don’t know.”
“Daisy, I won’t let you leave. You know I can’t.--”
She didn’t let him finish. She turned and threw her arms around him. Sobbing as her body melted against him, letting his pheromones wash over her, the hurt and resentment that had taken seed in his absence loosened their grip on her heart. His thumbs swept over her cheeks, wiping away her tears.
As he returned her embrace, she was overwhelmed with all the feelings she had always longed for and was always denied. She felt loved, cherished, needed. She made her choice.
Cupping his face in her hands, she pressed her lips to his. He growled as he deepened the kiss. His lips parted, tongue invading her mouth. She pressed herself to him, her arms slipping around his neck.
Steve lifted her body, forcing her to wrap her legs around his waist. He pivoted and pushed her back against the wall. He tugged at the button on his pants, releasing his already hard cock. Pulling her panties to the side, he thrust inside her to the hilt.
Daisy cried out. Her body was wet and willing but unprepared to accommodate his size. She adjusted quickly, each snap of his hips creating a heavenly friction. This is what she needed. As long as they had passion and lust, everything else could burn. She would do anything to feel this way forever.
He drove into her. Hands gripping her thighs, fingertips bruising her soft skin. Each movement proving that she belonged to him. With him. Always.
Her hips rocked against him, clit rubbing against the base of his length. Her stomach coiled with building heat. Her back rubbed against the hard wall adding to all the other evidence of their trysts. The pain accentuating the pleasure with each stroke of his cock. His mouth came down on her mark. Kissing and licking the tender damaged skin sending her overstimulated body over the edge. Her orgasm sparked through her, electricity curling her toes, digging her heels into his hips, contracting her muscles around him.
Steve groaned as she came, her pussy so tight. His pace became brutal as he pounded into her. He needed this. Needed the release that would exorcise all the anger and hurt that had simmered only moments ago.
He grunted, fucking her in a way he never had, the goal not to prolong but to slake his lust as quickly as possible. Her moans drove him on, showing she enjoyed his rough use of her body.
His thrusts stuttered, thighs shook, hips slamming into her one more time as he came hard, cum filling her deep within.
Their foreheads met in a gentle lean. Steve kissed her, his heart pleased when she didn’t turn away but reciprocated the caress. He slowly set her on the floor, pulling her dress down, and tucked himself back into his pants. Her knees buckled. He immediately scooped her up in his arms and carried her out of the room.
Daisy allowed her Alpha to care for her, to carry her even though she knew she could walk now. His contentment with their current positions was tangible. His happiness filled her with a sense of belonging she had never felt. She understood now the connection an omega could have with her Alpha. It wasn’t something she could fight. She knew somehow she would never lose herself completely. Steve wouldn’t let it come to that. He would protect her. Even from herself.
His heart beamed as he felt her acceptance wash over her. The confusion and resentment gone. The fierce woman in his arms ready and willing to be his. His omega. He would give her the world to keep her pleased. “Let’s go home,” he said as he walked down the stairs.
She snuggled into his chest, her arms slipping around his neck as she whispered. “I’m already home.”
