I know this wont be ur favorite but im curious- how would the relationship between a quiet and dominant omega john and a submissive and pliant alpha brian go? Im sure the press would have their own nasty interpretation and especially with it being not really taboo, but most unheard of. I know u like omega brian but i wanna know what your ideas would be for this scenario. How would their relationship really work then?

So most courting practices start with the Alpha approaching the Omega. Bri and John have been circling each other for a few years, John making unsubtle comments about not having heat partners and Bri getting sulky whenever someone offers that isn’t him. John finally gets fed up and asks (read: tells) Brian to court him.
And someone leaks that exchange to the public which starts this whole mess. John just rolls his eyes and Brian tries not to have it worry him too much. It doesn’t matter, they’re courting and he’s happy, who cares about how it happens.
On the outside, it looks like Bri is just being a considerate Alpha, when certain milestones come up (first shared heat, bonding, marriage, kids, you know that whole thing) and he is considerate, but he lets John dictate the pace and doesn’t really fight him on anything (because he knows he and John are meant to be so why would he? Sharing a heat now or three years from now, well as long as it happens?)
The press ofc spins this to be that John is a demanding Omega, or that Brian doesn’t want to mate him, or that John is underhanded/stringing Bri along and all sorts of nasty stories along that nature. Even one memorable one that “Brian May steps out on Omega Partner with John Deacon.”
Also also! In bed, John is a very bossy Omega and Bri likes being told what to do. He enjoys knowing that what he’s doing is exactly what his omega wants and that it’s pleasurable for both of them. It makes him a very thrilled Alpha. Also, John sometimes wants a break during his heat, and Bri is more than willing to be fucked.
When it finally comes to bonding, Bri aks John to mark him as well, it’s certainly not traditional but their relationship is very much equal and he wants to show it.
Another thing is that when they’re approached by groupies/people looking for one night stands/etc their reactions are also very not. Typical. Bri gets moody, because that’s his omega, but he isn’t going to step in until it looks like John really needs help. Then once the situation resolves, Brian gets that clingy possessive Alpha streak, and that’s when John knows he’s not going to have the “dominant” role in the bedroom for a bit, because Brian wants to prove that he’s a good Alpha without needing to be told how to be one.
Meanwhile, John is a subtle sort of direct with chasing off suitors. Bri is bad as rejecting people outright, so John simply comes over and wraps around him and scents him until the other person gets the hint. Especially if it’s an Omega, and more certainly if its an Omega trying to grab Bri as a heat partner. John spends the rest of the night reminding Bri who he belongs to.
