Can i prompt more omega obiwan (qui as protective alpha) with creepy or revealed sith palpetine?
“Something about the Chancellor is off,” Qui-Gon claimed, while sitting comfortable in his friend’s living room. Mace’s rooms were quite lively decorated, something you would not think from the Korun Master.
“What makes you think that?” the Councilor asked, sipping his coffee. Of course he had offered Qui-Gon something to drink too, but the long haired alpha had politely refused. He did not drink coffee and Mace’s attempts of brewing tea were always horrendous.
“The way he acts around Obi-Wan,” he growled, his eyes furrowed in anger.
That statement caused the dark skinned alpha to immediately straighten his posture. He sat his cup aside in order to focus on his friend. “Excuse me?”
The taller alpha growled once more, hoping that his mate, who was currently teaching a class Younglings about lightsabers, would not be disturbed by his emotions. “Obi-Wan always tells me that he gets a bad feeling around the Chancellor, dark and cold and always suffocating. Also there is something in his eyes, that I do not like and I swear to the Force, that I am going to kill or at least hurt him, when he looks at my mate this way ever again.” He did not need to elaborate which look exactly he meant, Mace understood it. The Chancellor was an alpha too after all…
“Qui-Gon…”
“No,” he interrupted the Korun Master and jumped to his feet abruptly. His eyes shone with barely contained anger and his protective alpha hormones wer heavy in the air. “I’ve waited and watched long enough. He is distressing my partner, I will not tolerate it,” he hesitated only for a brief moment, “Either the Council finally takes actions, or I will.”
Without waiting for an answer, Qui-Gon turned and left his friend’s apartment in order to get to his own as fast as possible. The alpha in him was running amok and he needed to calm down, so that he would not do something rash that he OR Obi-Wan would come to regret later. Not after the last time he had acted without thinking and therefore had hurt his beloved omega greatly. So great, that he had almost lost him in the process.
Back in the safe haven that was his and Obi-Wan’s shared quarters, Qui-Gon paced through the whole living room, again and again. His steps were quick and his hands were tightly clenched into fists. Why in the name of the Force could he not calm down? Why was this bothering him so much? The only explanation was that there was a lot more behind the whole affair, than Palpatine trying to take his omega. But what could it be?
He whipped his head around when the door to the quarters opened, without anyone having chimed first. Almost instantly a familiar smell rose in the air and it already began to calm the long haired man down.
“Qui?” an accented voice asked, “Beloved? Is everything alright?” Obi-Wan stepped into the living room as well, he was missing his robe, which was a good indicator that he had simply left the Younglings with another teacher in order to find his distraught mate.
Qui-Gon did not answer, he would not have known what to say. His mate was not fond of him interfering in his life, not in THIS way that is. The omega was quite capable of taking care of himself, he had often proved that during past missions. If Qui-Gon was completely honest, than he had to admit that Obi-Wan was tougher than most betas and he would give enough alphas a run for their money, but with Palpatine…
A sigh escaped the copper haired male and he stopped in the middle of the room, arms crossed over his chest and expression unreadable. “You talked to the Council, did you not?”
Midnight blue eyes avoided blue-green ones. “I talked to Mace,” there was no need to lie or deny, not now. It would only get him on Obi-Wan’s bad side.
“I thought we agreed that you are not to reveal anything yet,” his tone was calm, but Qui-Gon knew better. His mate was boiling inside and it was just a matter of time, until he would explode. It would not be pretty.
“I am worried,” still the alpha could not help but snap angrily. “That… that pervert… looks at you as if you are a piece of meat, presented for everyone to see. You are MY mate… and I am afraid of losing you.” Miserable as he was, now that all pent up emotions had been released, the tall male let himself fall onto the couch and buried his bearded face in his hands.
He did hear the younger male move around and it appeared as if he was shuffling away. Qui-Gon did not dare to look up and see his mate leave again, he was not sure he could have dealt with that now. He was surprised however, when the omega came right back, with a steaming cup of Qui-Gon’s favorite tea in his hand, which he promptly sat onto the circular glass table in front of the taller male, before he snuggled tightly against his mate. Without thinking did Qui-Gon wrap his arms around his partner and pulled him as close against him, as humanly possible.
“You won’t lose me,” the copper haired man said calmly, but he did allow his mate to bury his face in his neck to inhale his scent. When Qui-Gon needed the closeness and reassurance, then that was fine by him.
“Palpatine will pay,” Qui-Gon mumbled and Obi-Wan deemed it better not to answer that one. In truth, he was distraught too after all.
