Then 2: Dirk looking for his alpha bro (Or any, just, a Big bro would be nice), his Dave, Jane, Roxy, Hal, and maybe Jake (Iffy on that, it was NOT a good relationship, but still wanna talk to him). Basic memories, Dirk did not do emotions well, he tended to flip. Sawtooth was designed to be like D from what he knew. Dirk and Jake's relationship ended really badly, and Dirk is not doing okay 2k17.

also can i say just how fucking proud of my lil bro i was? shit. he had already made squarewave and was working on sawtooth when i died. that shit was next level for me, i could barely make the tv work sometimes. and then there was hal?? jesus. my kid was a genius, a self deprecating narcissistic genius and i was and still am so proud of him. like, really. he made me talk to hal when he was still in development and shit. i was in awe. couldnt tell the difference. i had two kids for the price of one. except one of them happened to be a pair of shades, but fuck.

now that i think of it im pretty sure dirk was jealous of the fact that i seemed to appreciate hal more than just as an autoresponder. “hes just a pair of glasses, bro. you need to chill,” he would tell me. and i was like nah. nahhh.
