Playing With Three
[ Description: It wasn't unusual for two omegas or two alphas to fight over the same potential mate, it was common for alphas and omegas to be picky over who they chose to spend their life with. What wasn't common, was for an omega who wanted nothing to do with an alpha or alphas.
You unintentionally caught the attention of Garrett Graham and Dean Di Laurentis, two of Briar University notorious alphas. Known for their playboy ways, and leaving a trail of heartbroken omegas, betas, even a few alphas behind them.
You wanted nothing to do with them, absolutely nothing. In fact, you enjoyed being left alone, left to your figure skating and teaching degree in the works.
It would've stayed that way too, if you didn't cave to Allie and Hannah's persistent pestering about that stupid party... ]
Pairing: Alpha Garrett Graham x Alpha Dean Di Laurentis x Figure Skater Female Omega Reader

Omega reader: who is perfectly content with being alone, focusing on her education, growing as a person, making lifelong friends. A courtship is the furthest thing in the back of her mind.
Omega reader: who honestly doesn’t really like alphas… they’re pushy, arrogant, their scents burn her nose, and they think with their knots before anything else.
Omega reader: who will fully encourage her friends to pursue a courtship, she would never deny or try to sabotage someone else’s happiness because it doesn’t align with hers.
Omega reader: who believes in love, and courtship, it just… it isn’t a priority to her. It never has been.
Omega reader: who was learning how to skate before she could walk, her sire a hockey player, her mother a figure skater coach. You could say it runs in the family.
Omega reader: who found her calling in figure skating, she loves it. Loves everything about it, and has the goal of going to the Olympics.
Omega reader: who also has a fall back plan in case it doesn’t work out, a college professor. She loves teaching just as much as skating.
Omega reader: who would much rather shove her nose in a book before going to party, unfortunately for her… she can’t say no to her two friends. Allie and Hannah.
Omega reader: who shows up with Allie and Hannah to a celebration party thrown for the college hockey team winning or something like that? She wasn’t quite paying attention to that detail.
Omega reader: who immediately sits in the corner curled up in a chair, with her nose shoved in a book.
Omega reader: who is dragged to the middle of the dance floor by Allie, and eventually “lets loose” allowing the music to guide her body.
Omega reader: who catches the attention of alpha Garrett Graham and alpha Dean Di Laurentis.
Omega reader: who politely rejects them when they approach, scrunching her nose when they offer her their wrist in order for her get an inhale of their scents.
Omega reader: who leaves the two alphas, along with the rest of their team, pack, with their mouth agape’s. No one rejects Garrett or Dean. No one. All of the counterparts found their scents irresistible. Except you, apparently.
Omega reader: who vanished after that, the alphas could only catch faint traces of your scent lingering in places. In the hallways, in a classroom, around the bottom seats of the stadium, if lucky enough, maybe a whiff off of it on another student that you perhaps sat next to during a lecture.
Omega reader: who honestly hasn’t thought about either of them, not even once. The only reason you remember them is Allie’s crazy hook up stories with the blonde one. Or Hannah’s complaints about the brunette blowing off their tutoring sessions. Their names, forgettable.
Omega reader: who has a skating partner that she cannot stand, an alpha who believed omegas shouldn't be in sports. An outdated way of thinking, but she had to admit... they skated beautifully together. Always synchronized, always perfect. The judges loved the two together, even the crowd did when there was a competition going on.
Omega reader: who had practice an hour before the college hockey team every single day, which she was extremely thankful for. The one time her coach rented out the ice rink after the hockey team, it reeked. It was a suffocating blend of sweat, old musk, unmistakable territorial posturing.
If it were socially acceptable, she had no doubt each alpha on said hockey team would be christening every inch of the rink just to stake a claim and keep everyone else away. It was disgusting.
Omega reader: who is a whole different person while in a pair of skates, confident, outgoing, assertive… from afar she had been mistaken for another counterpart. From up close though, there was no denying she what she truly was.
Omega reader: who is proud of her counterpart, of being an omega. She didn’t try to smother her scent, hiding it from everyone else? Why? They don’t do it, why should she? Scent patches are expensive. Especially the kind that completely hide one’s scent.
It was honestly a completely hypocritical way of thinking, if an alpha can get away without wearing scent patches, neutralizer spray, etc. so couldn’t an omega, there wasn’t a law that stated she needed to, not anymore at least.
This doesn’t mean she doesn’t wear scent patches, she does. Omega reader knows the very real statistics of omega attacks on a daily basis. All because some alpha couldn’t keep it in his pants, or couldn’t control his instincts.
She just chose to wear the ones that muted her scent, and always carried a neutralizer spray on her. If not for her, then one of her friends, or on occasion a distressed omega.
Omega reader: who had a less than pleasant first time experience, and kinda swore off more… intimate relationships. She did not want to go through that again, so she spends her heats alone.
Omega reader: who honestly finds it insulting when her alpha friends try to “take care” of her, scenting her, bringing her food, offering a jacket, even bringing her a scented object for her nest.
She didn’t ask. Besides, she’s an independent omega, she can take care, provide for herself. She doesn’t need some alpha, or even her friends to look out for her. There are plenty of other omegas on and off campus, that are just dying to have someone take care of them.
Omega reader: who has rejected, politely! Alphas who have tried to start a courtship with her. She’s sure they’re great, lovely alphas, but not for her.
Omega reader: who sees Garrett and Dean in passing but never makes an effort to talk, or even acknowledge them. Why would you? You can’t even remember their names…
Omega reader: who, on occasion will go to a hockey game with Hannah. You have your nose in a book, but hey? At least you’re there.
Omega reader: who has no idea that Garrett and Dean try, and more times than not fail at discreetly inhaling your scent when it rubs off on Allie and Hannah. You were quite the affectionate omega when it came to your friends, pack.
Omega reader: who has no idea that Allie and Hannah are more than amused by their behavior, it was like watching two pups try to latch onto their mothers. So, they encouraged the behavior…
The two girls practically rolled around in your scent, hanging out in your den, stealing a piece of clothing from your closet. Asking for a cuddle, a hug, maybe a nuzzle if they were feeling brave, you would nip if they weren’t careful.
Omega reader: whose practice runs a little late, and ends up entrancing Garrett and Dean. Unintentionally and unknowingly, the last time the boys saw you move this fluently, this sensual, was the party all those months ago.
Omega reader: who skates off the rink and walks out of the arena before they made it halfway down the stairs. Once again, vanishing.
Omega reader: who has no idea that Garrett and Dean have started to ask random questions about you to anyone who knew you or of you. Practically begging for any scraps of information about you, since you were so adamant about avoiding them. You weren’t avoiding them.
Omega reader: who has unfortunately walked in on Allie and Dean more times than you would like to admit. Squeaking before slamming the door shut, yelling a thousand apologies and practically running out of the apartment.
Omega reader: who doesn’t quite understand Hannah’s and Garrett’s dynamic but never pried, what they did in their free time was up to them.
Omega reader: who finally speaks to Dean, five words exactly. “I believe these are yours.”
In your outstretched hand, was a pair of boxers. His boxers that you found underneath the sofa in your shared apartment, when you were cleaning.
You maintained eye contact, and didn’t look the least bit embarrassed about the fact you were holding a dirty pair of boxers in front of his face, in front of his pack, in the middle of a college hallway.
As soon as he grabs them, nonchalantly mind you. You had wiped your hand off on the side of your jeans, with the identical scrunched up nose you had the first night you met. Walking past him before he could say anything flirty in response.
Omega reader: who accidentally tackles and punches Garrett when she heard the front door of her shared apartment opens and closes. Hannah, sweet, sweet Hannah, had asked Garrett to stop over and grab one of her textbooks that she forgot for their tutoring session.
She was stuck in a class and had an appointment right after their session, she didn’t have time to drive all the way to the apartment and back to Garrett’s.
Omega reader: who immediately feels like shit after she saw the blood trickling out of his now split lip.
“Why would you do that!?” You choked out, a hand flying to your mouth. Eyes darting rapidly to his bleeding lip and his gaze. “I thought you wer– why are you smiling?”
“You’re ravishing.” Garrett murmurs, his voice thick with awe. He remains still on the floor where you had tackled him, his pupils dilate as he looks up at you.
Omega reader: who made Garrett cookies as an apology that very same night, even though he had told her multiple times that there was no need.
Omega reader: who hand delivers the cookies to Garrets den, unknowingly winning over the rest of his pack.
Omega reader: who slowly, very slowly, allows Garrett, and in extension Dean since the two seem to barely separate into her little bubble.
Omega reader: who is blunt about the fact her heat is coming up, and she’ll be taking two weeks off for it. She wasn’t ashamed. Heats are natural for omegas, or they should be at least.
Omega reader: who doesn’t understand why Garrett and Dean seem so shocked at her telling them, looking between the two with furrowed brows.
Omega reader: who rolls her eyes, telling them to “relax” that her telling them wasn’t an invitation, nor permission to go all alpha and “provide” for her. It was just a courtesy in their newly acquainted friendship?
Omega reader: who sends back every scented object the boys send her, even going as far as to put the food they sent in the fridge. Unlabeled.
Omega reader: who returns to class after the two weeks absolutely exhausted. Dark, almost black circles under your eyes, hair in a messy updo of some sort, baggy clothes. Etc.
Omega reader: who accidentally throws Garrett and Dean into an unscheduled rut because she still has that slightly more sweeter, heat filled scent on her.
Omega reader: who is a hypocrite, and sends food. Sometimes homemade food to the boys during their ruts, and just never mentions it, or confirms it was her.
Omega reader: who grimaces when they return to class, they looked just as, if not worse than you did when you returned.
Omega reader: who doesn’t really know how to feel about her newfound friendship with Garrett and Dean. It was strange…
Omega reader: who has no idea that Garrett and Dean view her as everything except as a friend.
