day 3: stream you think you are most suited to

not to brag, but alpha, probably

i mean, i have never considered anything else, to be fair. i don’t have any particular bent for technology. i am definitely NOT a jock. and while i might do okay in the political/financial stream—like theoretically i could DO it—i think i would be bored out of my mind. i have never once in my life wanted to hold public office. 

(however, I would enjoy working on a comedy series about embezzlement, but that isn’t the same)

being an alpha is often shorthanded as leadership, which in practical terms I think means “the main character of action/adventure stories.” and yeah. i do see myself in that light a lot.

the other side of that, though, is actually about the thinking and the doing. and while i may never kidnap a president or steal top secret data (to the nsa, if you are reading this: i *will* never do these things we are just having entertainment here), I do intend to work on my leadership and management skills as i grow as a person.

I’d love to be the person who comes up with innovative ideas. I’d love to be the person who works hard enough to see those things come true. And so, all that to say, I’d love to be an Alpha, if such things were real.

Day 3

Stream you think you are most suited to.

I don't want want to seem pretentious in saying Alpha but well... I don't have the muscle mass, thick-headedness, or obedience to be a Henchman. I'm ok-ish at coding and I could maybe build something given the tools and blue-prints, but I'm no mad scientist/inventor so Technical's out for me. Both politics and finance tend to annoy me to no end, so me being put in Political/Financial would likely lead to several casualties. Or at least a great deal of argumentative filibustering of class discussions.

What I do have is cunning, and an approximate knowledge of a great many things, and a talent for predicting likely courses of events. As for the whole leadership aspect, I'm typically not fond of taking on the lead role but that's more of a mix of "I prefer being unobserved to being in the spotlight", "I'd rather do my own thing", and "I don't want to be weighed down by incompetents, or back-stabbers, or incompetent back-stabbers." I have noticed that when those hurdles are cleared I take on an adviser/supervisorish role. That's leadery right?

And my friends and I have already decided how we're going to split up the world once we take over.

So yeah, Alpha.
