     𝙼𝙴𝙼𝙴.       /       alphaconstruct   :    ‘ you’re allowed to be angry . you’re allowed to feel whatever it is that you feel . ’

                   𝙱𝚁𝙾𝙺𝙴𝙽  𝙷𝙴𝙰𝚁𝚃𝙴𝙳  𝙶𝙸𝚁𝙻  𝚈𝙾𝚄  𝚆𝙸𝙻𝙻  𝙱𝙴  𝙰𝙻𝚁𝙸𝙶𝙷𝚃.    wounds  are   meant  to   heal.   or  so  they   told  you.     but  you  had  never  been  prepared  for  the  day  where  you  would  have  to  look  him  in  the  eyes  and  not  see  the  love  he  once  had  for  you  reflected  back  in  them.     HE  WAS  MEANT  TO  BE  YOUR  FUTURE.     the  father  of  your  children.     you  were  supposed  to  grow  old  together.     you  weren’t  supposed  to  be  sidelined  whilst  your  cousin,   your  supposed  best  friend,   got  to  live  the  life  you  once  thought  meant  for  you.     fate  couldn’t  be  that  cruel.    

                                             𝘢𝘯𝘥  𝘺𝘦𝘵,  𝘪𝘵  𝘸𝘢𝘴  𝘵𝘰  𝘺𝘰𝘶…

for  the  past  few  weeks  that  was  exactly  the  life  you  had  been  living.     forced  to  figure  out  what  life  was  like  before  him.     to  put  the  pieces  that  they  broke  back  together.     going  through  a  break-up  was  heart-wrenching  enough.     but  to  do  it  without  your  best  friend  ?    the  person  who  had  been  there  with  you  through  everything  else.     she  never  imagined  she  would  find  herself  in  that  position.  

                    if  his  voice  did  anything   /   it  fueled  her  anger.  

         ‘    i  wasn't  aware  i  needed  your  approval,    ‘     her  words  came  out  with  a bitter  edge.     hands  clenched  into  fists  to  keep  from  lashing  out.     ‘     i’m  so  goddamn  happy  you  think  i’m  ALLOWED  to  feel  this  way  sam.     ‘     breathing  becomes  ever  so  slightly  labored.     fresh  tears  stinging  behind  lids   /   yet  she  refused  to  let  them  fall.     he  wouldn’t  get  to  see  her  cry.     ‘    really ,   thanks  for  letting  me  know.     or  this  definitely  would’ve  kept  me  awake  tonight.     now.     if  you’re  about  done  letting  me  know  how  i  can  or  cannot  feel,   you  can  leave.     ‘
