It…wasn’t much of a hit, if Jacqueline was honest, and it made a soft, dull thud against her stomach, which had tensed up when she saw the punch being swung towards her.

She really hadn’t been kidding when she said she didn’t fight much. Jacqueline had wanted to teach her some basic self-defense, and she had wanted to see what she could do beforehand. The results didn’t look very promising.

Aures, sitting beside a woman on the bus stop, found himself thinking back to Her. It wasn’t the most pleasant topic, yet it lead back to his thinking about Greta, which in turn made him in a very sibling-positive mood.
