Coach didn't stutter when he cornered Wells in the weight room. He pointed a massive finger at the shimmering, thick liquid in the shaker bottle and gave the only order that mattered: "Guzzle it down, Gold. You want to lead the backline? You gotta be the biggest beast on it. Guzzle gold to grow bold."
Wells didn't need a second invitation. He popped the top, the scent of the Hive’s formula hitting him like a physical weight. He tilted his head back, his throat working rhythmically as he drained the bottle in one go. It was thick, sweet, and heavy, the kind of fuel that goes straight to the fibers.
He felt the heat spread immediately. His skin-tight golden shirt felt like it was shrinking as his chest and shoulders swelled, the formula hitting his system and demanding more space.
"That's it, Wells," Coach chuckled, watching the Alpha’s pupils dilate as the conditioning kicked in. "See how much better you feel when you just… take it? No thinking. No resisting. Just taking every drop I give you until you're too thick to function as anything but a winner."
Wells wiped a stray drop of gold from his lip, his muscles twitching with new, artificial power. He looked at the empty bottle, then back at Coach with a cocky, predatory grin.
"I'm ready for the next round, Coach. I can handle as much as you can pour."
