Back in October, The Weeknd announced that he was partnering with Marvel for his very own Starboy comic, due for a release in June. Today (May 20), the Canadian singer will release a full collection of Starboy-themed merchandise for fans to collect.
Based from his chart-topping hit, “Starboy”, the comic is set in the city of Alphatron, which is “in the grip of a crime wave, as the terrifying Jack “The Chef” Smiley has unified all criminal organizations with his ruthlessness and strategic genius.” Fans of The Weeknd can sport a hooded coach jacket with both Marvel and The Weeknd’s respective logos on the front and a vivid picture of Smiley on the back.
Prices for the new Starboy merchandise collection are not yet available but the full collection will go on sale on The Weeknd’s site today, exclusively for U.S. and Canada customers.
