The return to that place had hardly been expected. In fact, after getting herself situated in a little apartment in a neighbouring city -thanks to the charity of a couple whom had found her exhausted in a certain wheat field-, Chell had thought to leave such a thing in the past where it had belonged, collecting dust in some corner and rotting away undisturbed. For the first couple months, that was all it was. She focused on learning about the world outside the facility and nothing more than that, but upon the news of Aperture's reopening she could scarcely believe it.

Now, after the news hadn't left her thoughts since it had first been brought up, Chell had made her way back inside the facility. Why..? Even she didn't know the answer to that herself; perhaps to see just how much things had changed since the last time she'd been there. Guests were only allowed to visit certain areas, but she took her time looking around wherever she could.
