I've just realized that I've never seen Upgrade in your art style and thought it's a good chance to ask about it now that we're temporarily at Walter Manor. If it's ok, of course!
Good catch, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to sneak her in anywhere! I don't think I have drawn Upgrade before, actually. Took a few tries to get her lips looking right, haha.

Couldn't stop thinking about it this whole evening. Now I'm thinking about what would Hare think if he found himself with a couple of long fluffy veiny ears on his head.

I hope questions like that are still appropriate. I'm just curious about something.
During the battle between Locksmith and The Scull, the scary mustachioed potato man got even creepier by releasing gas on Scull, which causes him... to hallucinate??? do robots hallucinate??? and see what I assume may be one of his worst nightmares. So now I wonder what other residents of the Becile Manor would see in this gas (Riker would probably just die, I doubt it's good for his lungs, but maybe he would see something before... oh you know)? We know some of their fears, but it's always a wonder what could really bring them to the state of pure horror. In addition, the truth is sometimes unexpected, isn't it?
Hope it didn't sound too sadistic and thank you in advance if you decide to reply! ^^
This one took some thinking! The thing about Skull's hallucination was that it was rooted not just in fear, but also guilt. It was a direct pull on his emotions-- just the vision alone wouldn't have affected him so badly. (Another thing I had in mind was that Locksmith was physically present during the hallucination and the vision of Pops was sort of plastered over him. Not all of these follow that exactly, but that was my original train of thought!) Some of these are obvious, some are deeper cuts.
Riker: A ghastly amalgamation of his scrapper crew, like something out of John Carpenter's The Thing.
Dee: Hannah, Della's child, crying inconsolably in fear of Dee.
Scratch: Similar to his nightmare, Annabel dying to bullets, then being admonished by his grandfather.
Hare: A "girl" version of himself surrounded by a jeering crowd and being unable to reach or talk to her.
The Jack: Himself, mad again and back in the straitjacket.
And bonus round:
Locksmith: An angel judging him for his misdeeds in life. (This one requires context: Locksmith knows souls exist, but there's no confirmation of an afterlife or divine judgement. Having it revealed that there is a divine moral system and he has failed would shake him.)

Hare! In addition to being 'oblique', you are also a stowaway. At least, we use your name to address to those who don't pay for their ticket and sit quietly, unnoticeable. Like a hare in the snow 🐇
The question is, how is it that your name suits you so perfectly? Even within the natural world. I mean, bunnies are adorable and domestic, and so is Rabbit. And hares are badass and kick-ass and real tough guys and - oh my god! - have ya seen their CLAWS?! I swear, if they showed me two picture with you and a 'fuzzy bastard', I wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
I have a weird way of making compliments, yeah.

Please tell me that the posters that hang on Scratch's wall were given to him by The Scull. Please.
The Skull: … Don't look at me like I went outta my way. They were 50₵ at the thrift store and I was only there to drop off some sweaters. I just looked for the ones with the big shiny eyes and crazy hair and let him sort through them.
The Skull: Though Scratch really took a shine to the one with this… green, buff, alien guy with small eyes and no hair.
Scratch: Piccolo's my favorite!
The Skull: … "Piccolo."
Scratch: Yeah!!
The Skull:
Scratch: /visibly vibrating with excitement
The Skull: Alright, alright, let me get my knitting and you can tell me why he's your favorite.

[Panel1: Hare's feet dragging up the stairs to the attic, wobbling. He's mumbling to himself incoherently (scribbles).]
[Panel 2: Hare opens the door to the attic and slumps against the door frame. He continues to mumble, eventually saying, "Dee… I gotta talk to you…" (his text is more jagged than usual).]
[Panel 3: Dee, laying on the sofa with her arms crossed over her stomach, grumpily says, "Funny. I don't remember saying you could come in."]
[Panel 4: Dee looks up at Hare and says, "… What's with the backpack. Did you bring me more books?" Hare, letting off a little coal smoke, looks down at the strap of the backpack slung over his right shoulder."]
[Panel 5: Hare, looking at the floor miserably, says "… No… There's no… cough (his text becomes clearer) Not gonna be any more books."]
[Panel 6: Shot of Hare's left side, his hand holding a small, closed gas canister. He says, "I'm leavin'. And I ain't comin' back."]
[Panel 7: Dee shoots up from the sofa, teeth grit angrily. She shouts, "What? Don't be stupid. Who would check on me if you left? How would I get new books?"]
[Panel 8: Hare begins to crumble, shaking and curling forward, his grip on the backpack strap tightening. Dee continues to yell from off screen, "Who would stitch me back together after the bad days? Do you expect me to go down there? With the monsters? What do you--"]
[Panel 9: Shot over Hare's right shoulder, only catching the bottom corner of his face, mouth open and teeth bared. Dee looks taken aback as Hare snaps and shouts back, "I don't know Dee!" End ID]
