“اغفر وارحم عليه، وحماية له من عذاب القبر وعذاب النار.”
In “Al Sah-him,” a lesser actor might have turned Evil Oliver into Robot Oliver; Amell managed to infuse such a sense of tragedy into the detachment of Al Sah-him that he compelled on screen even when mostly devoid of expression. The man is a master at acting with his eyes, and Stephen Amell can always be counted upon to deliver a noteworthy performance.
Arrow S03E21: What worked, what didn’t, and what needs to happen next
The first was when Al Sah-him heeded Felicity’s demand that Maseo not touch her, despite Oliver’s knowledge of her role in the defeat of Slade Wilson only a year previous. Whether Felicity avoided a frisking because Oliver’s faculties were sufficiently intact that he wanted to give his team a chance to escape or because Oliver was present enough to know that he didn’t want another man pawing at his beloved, there was clearly more to Al Sah-him than met the eye in the warehouse showdown.
