“Mmmm–” He hadn’t realized he’d DOZED OFF until he faintly heard Sakura’s voice. Chestnut hues fluttered open as he blinked a few times for his gaze to focus. He noticed Sakura cradling their baby in her arms and he immediately sat up. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to fall asleep. You must be tired, HERE–” He reached his hands out to take the baby into his arms. “I’ll take him, you get some sleep.” He said softly, leaning in to press a kiss to her temple.

while ambrose isn’t always awake in time for breakfast, he so happens to be this day. and he can’t help but be pleased by it. he doesn’t always eat his meals when he should since he’s home all the time anyway, but he always enjoys whatever auntie hilda whips up. he plops himself in a chair at the table just as sabrina has left for school. his legs perched up like a bird as he picks a strawberry from a small bowl before him. “what’s for breakfast today, auntie h? somethin’ delicious as always, i reckon.” he grins and chuckles softly. he’s never one to request anything specific, he’ll eat whatever she makes regardless.
