how can people just be adults and do adult things like be in a relationship with all the steps and bits

sometimes i think i'll never grow out of feeling like this, im just stuck like this since i was like 13. wondering how the hell im the only kid left surrounded by adults.

it's just bizarre to me. how can you just ? be in a relationship? without it being awkward? i can barely talk to my friends without accidentally saying my compulsive thoughts out loud.

just being with people is weird anyway.

Some of my colleagues who study for the same public competition as me are waking up at 4 o’clock, doing their full-time workday, studying another couple of hours before bed. Aside from the obvious consideration that whoever says Southern Italian graduates are second-class people should die in a fire, I want that kind of determination for myself.
