Yesterday, I went to MilesChronicles stage show in Denver. And I have to say I felt the happiest I have felt in a long time. When I got there, as I was waiting in line, I talked to this girl with a dan and phil sweater, we talked a bunch and it was so cool to meet them. Sadly I didn’t get any of their social medias or even their name (but seriously message me if you somehow see this I’m the one with blue hair that said I might cry), but the fact that I was having a conversation about how happy excited we were with a random stranger was amazing and mind blowing honestly. When I met Miles they were so kind and happy and caring that I thought I was going to cry because of how happy they were at what I gave them. And while I was even waiting in line, I saw a ton of people who were like me. That has never happened to me. I go to a school where the majority is thin white rich straight girls. That’s all I have ever known really and it was so incredible to see all these people like me in one area; I have never felt like I’ve been in such a great community. It was all built on hope and love and acceptance, it was literally a life changing experience. When we got out, I got hugged by four people I had never met before, and I didn’t even know the names of. It was such a great experience and I really loved it, and would do it all again in a heartbeat because of how unconditionally loved and accepted I felt.
