What characters would you like asks about?
-@outofangband
Any and all? I mean honestly, seriously just go for it xD So far as Silm Stuff goes my list of faves tends to lean pretty heavily towards the Feanorians/The Noldor in general, but honestly, I've been in this fandom long enough that have Thoughts and Opinons on pretty much everyone-- Be he foe or friend, be he foul or clean, brood of Morgoth or bright Vala, Elda or Maia or Aftercomer xD
I mean, I'm over here fangirling over Tinfang, so...
😊😫
😊 - I think you are a really friendly person.
WHAT A RELIEF!!!
😫 - I admire you from the sidelines because you seem cool and I’m just a dork.
Nooo come into the light I’m the lamest person ever I swear. My go-to comfort movie is Enchanted, it doesn’t get lamer than that.
By any chance do you know any good dragon age fics?
Unfortunately anon, I don’t read many fics in the dragon age fandom, much as I love it. Anything by Khirsah is usually good! Also checking your favorite author’s favorite fics/authours usually yields good results
One of these years I need to rewatch Goonies to find out if I actually don’t like it, or if 11 year old me just didn’t like nice things.
I think we should actively work to de-associate all art from its "creators" (and reassociate it with an immanent ecology of actions and performances) but in the meantime, in capitalist celebrity culture, the artist and the art are equal, simultaneous productions and are both liable to intensive critique from the audience that is produced by the same mechanisms. So the goal for me is to untie art from the idea of individual producers, but at the same time to recognize that Bowie, for example, is not a legitimate individual producer but a production in himself, and thus a critique of the "artist" must always go hand in hand with a critique of the "art".
