I've never realized the extent to which I actually do sight read music until I'm at a funeral, and I don't know this new fangled praise song, and they're projecting the lyrics but not the notes, so I can't fake knowing the melody. Or learn it in a single verse because the music notation helps.

Also... contemporary praise music continues to make sure I will never be protestant again. *Shudders*
