Chapter Excerpt~
———
It was early when Frisk stirred from their blissful slumber. Sans's eyes cracked open, watching her slowly drag herself out from his arms. As she sat up against the covers, he admired the line of her back trailing down her flawless skin that was lit by the soft, fractured glow of faux moonlight coming in through closed blinds.
She stretched, her back arching and he was left rather breathless at the sight. So gorgeous… so… It was then it hit him that she was leaving. She was leaving to go back to the surface.
It's not that he didn't know she'd be returning to the world outside the mountain but… it still stung to acknowledge.
He groaned and she glanced back at him, her tired eyes locking him in a knowing look. “I didn't mean to wake you,” she whispered.
Sans shook his head and groggily dragged himself up to sit beside her. He kissed her shoulder and wrapped a possessive arm around her. Drinking her in before he'd have to say goodbye.
“You mean to tell me you were gonna leave without sayin' goodbye? Frisk…” he teased as he nibbled on her bare shoulder and pulled her against his chest. She sighed against him, a small smile cracking on her lips.
She scrunched her nose up and kissed him, her hand coming up to cup his face. He took it as a sufficeable answer and kissed her back, pulling her by the waist into his lap.
Frisk parted from him just long enough to swing her leg over and straddle his hips. She sighed into his mouth and hugged him close.
They both sucked in a breath as they tilted their heads; a harmonious and practiced blend of tongue, lips and fangs.
Her breath shook and she pushed herself away, her forehead resting against his. “Stop… I have to stop or else I'm not going to be able to go back up there.” Her words were a quiet plea and he sucked in breath.
Sans didn't want to let her go. He almost had half the mind to tell her “good.” Almost.
