they can’t get purchase anywhere

i can’t get a grip on myself

i am drowning, being buried alive

under the weight of words i cannot find

i am frozen (please, get me out)

the sand piles up filling my brain choking, spilling down my throat

i feel every grain breaking me apart smooth as satin, soft as glass
