We have been blessed with abundant blessings of nature, its gorgeous mornings, mountains, lavish fields, rivers, trees, birds and a million other gifts.⠀ ⠀ We have been so busy with our issues, struggles and problems that we often overlook the most important things in our life. Happiness and love.⠀ ⠀ I remember touching base with my school mate. We studied in the same class. I was happy talking to him. It refreshed many fond memories of our school life. ⠀ ⠀ He shared a recent picture on chat. It was rather a grim picture. I expected him to be the bubbly and jovial person he was in the past. ⠀ ⠀ He discussed how work pressure is so much that he hardly gets any time for himself. He, sometimes, works even on the weekend.⠀ ⠀ The work pressures and hectic lifestyle has taken a toll on his physical and mental health. He looks way older than his biological age and definitely doesn't look as happy as he should after achieving so much in life. ⠀ ⠀ We need to stop and ask ourselves.⠀ ⠀ Why do we subject ourselves to so much pressure?⠀ Why does work take a president over health, family and happiness?⠀ Is it really worth it?⠀ ⠀ While circumstances do play an important role in one's life decisions, yet most of the time it's our over ambitious goals and a constant urge to prove ourselves that keep us running after our own set goals.
