Daily shopping during Alta Acqua.
Venice, Veneto
So I have been to the much hyped bookstore (Alta Acqua) in Venice. I actually found out about it on Tumblr. It isn’t very far from the main square, around 10-15 minutes of walk. Photos do it service though, it is a paradise for any book lover - books in gondolas, books in bathtubs and cats roaming around all the time. it looks messy but actually they are quite organized - books on art, architecture, philosophy, books in English, Spanish, German, Italian, all have their own corner. You can also browse by national criteria - English, German, Italian, Russian literature. Prices go from 5 to 50 euros and the owner is a very charismatic individual. A must if you are a book lover in Venice. I spent two hours there without noticing.
