Thank you Artificer for giving me inspiration for the next chapter of my fic!
I figured out some things for that area concept/campaign/Au-ish? thing I have
The name is Scorched Earth
You need level ten karma to enter.
There isn't a killing rain.
When you enter, there is no rain. When you start to get in the depths of the zone, it is a light drizzle. When you start nearing the iterator that lives there, it gets stronger. And when you are near/have arrived at the exterior of the iterator, is the rain from the shelter failure; not strong enough to kill, but strong enough to immobilize.
You can go without shelter through the zone, but it will lower your karma the more you don't sleep in one.
Instead of counting how much until rain, the clock will display how much time until the karma lowers.
The timer will be shorter the more your karma lowers.
Sleeping in a shelter doesn't restore karma lost, only prevent it getting lower. It also adds time to the timer
There is an item that can restore 1 level of Karma, it is scarce so you would need to use it wisely
--------
Aaaand that all I have for now. It is just floating in my mind and I needed to get it out. I am trying to figure out the creatures of this zone because I am not sure what to put in there. Maybe some rubicon enemies, I will see later
Also I don't know the scug of this sorta concept of campaign. I am tempted to use the Saint, but maybe I can crack some scug with some mystic powers and the reasons of said powers
I love sleep. I love dreaming. But sometimes, they frighten me. Not because they are a nightmare. No, what frightens me are the normal ones, where what happens can happen in the reality. Those that leave you stunned in bed, not with fear, but leave you just processing. Because they can be so real that the sensations stay with me. And that, sometimes, make me doubt that I am awake.
Guess who took a nap and now can't sleep!
Also, I haven't forgotten about the fic. I am preparing for a final exam for tomorrow and a project that I have to have ready this Friday
I updated my little fic
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Soo, I worte this:
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
And I did a drawing for it:
Sleep comes for those who wait for it
This is an AU where a Human gets teleported to the world of Rain World and meets two Ocs Iterators of mine. Its has part of the backstory of my two Iterators that I hope to post later one day.
