On April 6, I’m leading a day-long workshop at Ox-Bow, entitled “Layered Selves, Alternate Lives: Writing Who We Are, Might Have Been, Could Become.” We will experiment with interactive writing and mapping prompts that invite you to explore relationships between place and identity, chance and choice, experience and interpretation, and equity and empathy. These exercises serve both as tools for personal reflection and as structures for mining your own life and speculating alternate selves when building stories.

~Cutest guy in Gym class, stealing Sebastian's lunch money, purposefully hitting Sebastian with the balls in the balls playing Dodge Ball~

If Claude went to High School....

~King of Jocks, shoving Sebastian into lockers, pulling his shorts down in Gym, tripping him up in the hallway~

If Claude went to college.......

~Preforming Arts, Drama, Dancing, Culinary rivals with Sebastian~

If Claude had become a doctor instead of a butler.....

~The new Dr. McDreamy.~

-Cutest guy in the computer lab, shoved in lockers, still with the kittens and cats (has about 3 now)-

If Sebastian went to High school....

-Beating up bullies, Prom King, Captain of the Culinary team, Artistic ability, still saving cats (now owns 8)-

If Sebastian went to College

-Culinary rivals with Claude, On his way to becoming a certified Cat whisperer and Vet-

If Sebastian became a Vet.......

-Moar kittens...less spaying/neutering-
